I said "stream permissions" for a reason mate, obviously management will need to get them permissions for games since they are a corpo.

"Stream permissions" implied permissions for on-stream content, not necessarily just games, stuff like Vox's ASMR/faggotry with Mysta (skirting VERY close to the Youtube line), offcollabs, camera streams, filtering things that you can show on stream so that Youtube doesn't ban you etc. etc.
"Management" doesn't do anything to restrict the types of content that they do (except that one time with Pomu 3D - and even that is only speculation).

I think that is a good attitude though isn't it? Resolving issues behind the scenes where possible instead of making pointless PR statements is better for everyone involved. Whenever NijiJP or HoloJP issue some PR statement about something it just blows the issue up even bigger than it was before and draws in even more drama seeking fags who wouldn't have even realised it was going on. Your point is correct, but outright ignoring an obvious copyright slipup from your talent, especially when a rival company is involved, doesn't exactly paint the "management" in good light. The ONLY reason this didn't blow up was Towa doing damage control from the holo side, not because niji management ignored it and wished for it to go away.
Thankfully no one from the other side pushed them, but this isn't a good look to have, especially when it comes to bigger JP companies that they will eventually have to collab with for sponsorships etc.

I'm 100% sure that nothing went down behind the scenes. They privated the VODs only after pressure was building on each of those videos' comment sections from JP folks making a list of all the streams where Luca violated copyright. The streams were kept up for at least 2 weeks after the initial report came out.

Also do remember that even after Towa's offer of putting the title and URL, Luca STILL fucked things up and only put the URL on, for which he got flamed.
This is obviously just him being retarded, but it also shows that NijiEN management doesn't really help the talents with PR management like this, and tend to leave that stuff to the livers themselves most of the time. Even when involving the law apparently.

I don't think NijisanjiJP could replicate Hololive's success back in the 2020. That success is such that it's not just Gura who gets buffed, everyone else followed and it had a permanent effect on them. Salome or Nijisanji doesn't have that unfortunately. Though, I'd blame more on Cover albeit since they underestimated the demand of EN Vtubers and could have a better growth.
