So it all comes down to this: the vTubers have finally made it to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for Indie 500 weekend. First, it's the last chance for some of the struggling indies to make the 33-car 500 field as they compete in the Indie Grand Prix on the IMS road course. These are your top 10 championship standings with 2 rounds left in this series. 19 drivers are still in contention for the championship. Top 7 are all within 101 points of each other (the Indie 500 gives out 100 points for a win instead of the usual 70 in normal races, and you also gotta account for the pole position bonus point), so they have the best chances of winning the title. If I did my math right, the top 9 in the standings are all qualified for the Indie 500 already, and nobody's confirmed out of the running for the 500, but do check the spreadsheet to be sure. Well, all that excitement I felt in the last few races ended up being for nought. Thought a 3rd place for Kiki might be enough for her to win the championship, but I forgot how to do math where it most mattered. But it's still a successful series for the rookie with the oval classification win and 2nd place overall! If anything, we did have some pretty good results in these last two races: Shigure Ui once again dominates the IMS road course, two rookies finished in the top 5 overall, and we have a first time winner that debuted after the 1st series. So, congratulations to Nacho for winning an IndieCar title!

Next confirmed series is in July with Formula Holo's 8th series; IndieCar's 6th series will take place in August, and you'll definitely see Nacho, Kiki, and many others vying for that gold star on their vehicle. Thanks again for tuning into another fun series that came down to the wire, and hopefully the real-life Indy 500 tomorrow ends up also being very exciting!
