VSingers can't quite seem to grasp that the most important thing about being an entertainer is, well, actually being entertaining. Personality, having fun, and letting loose is what secures viewer investment, and that's what Hololive does best. Meanwhile VSingers might have the technical skill (if elitist primers are to be believed), yet without the engaging Hololive streamer-viewer relationship, VSinger voices are almost interchangeable with other singers from the immense indie talent pool. Even the "bad" singers of Hololive sing from the heart, whilst the alleged "pro singers" only ever robotically emulate sounds to form music. So the next time some "skilled" 2view envies the audience of Ame, Noel, Choco, I hope they have the introspection to realize that they only have themselves to blame.

When people is hard forced to choose between skill or charisma, charisma usually wins. This is after all the entertainment industry, not the neurosurgeon industry, more skillz isn't always better.

I don't think anyone even comes close to how bad Fauna is at singing in Hololive. It's egregious. She's not just "untrained" bad, she's not just untalented, she's aggressively "I have a genuine problem" bad at singing.
It's what initially got me into her. I was just dumbfounded how bad she was. Her original song was fine, because the vocals are almost like a lullaby.

Noel is pretty close, Wouldn't surprise me if both Noel and Fauna have amusia. Noel has barely improved in a few years despite lessons at least. Unless she recently had a redemption arc, its been 6 months since i watched a Noel karaoke

I dunno, I listened to that prerecorded karaoke she did, and it was okay (some of the music choices notwithstanding). not good by any measure, but I didn't feel the need to turn it off.
there's probably someone worse in Hololive. Noel or something. (it's funny that they have similar tones and voices.)

It's kind of sad when I see a great singer but held back by the lack of other skills, especially zatsudan. Man, she managed to become one of the best of her agency and joined large event just by singing skill alone, but her view drop to 1/5 when she doesn't sing.
