there is no way renting two apartments is cheaper than renting a 2 bedroom so you can have a dedicated streaming room. Even if there were some marginal saving the time cost and inconvenience of traveling between locations can't be worth it.
the only thing that makes sense is if she wanted her workspace to be completely separate from her living space but she apparently streams from both locations so thats out the window.
And as for the storage apartment thats a non starter storage space is 1/10 the cost of living space there is no logical reason you would rent an apartment just to store your junk.
