1) Vshoujo talents change models whenever they feel like it. The company doesn't get a say in it. On the other hand, the company doesn't pay for it either. I think Zen liked the dragon, but wanted a change. It allows them to play into this new lore and also fits the TTS voice.

2) Zen was a mute before and then switched to TTS. I'm assuming babiniku. Babi's don't any respect in the EN sphere and while nobody in Zen's chat gives a shit it's still a better business decision to mask it. Especially on Twitch.

Speech recognition fuck ups are usually more soundalike problems. Like during the birthday stream in response to one of the birthday videos Zen tried to say, "He's so cool" but the TTS interpreted it as "He suckable" and then things got really awkward for a minute.
