For instance, there will always be people who prefer the funky chaotic aura of Niji concerts to Hololive's coordinated idol performances or vice versa. Same goes for the chuubas. Someone like Utako, who's openly shotacon and has a twitter alt for her fans to send porn, may be a bit too extreme for Hololive.
In the end, it's all preferences. And it's not like there's 0 room for Nijisanji to grow either, as they only recently began entering the western market.
