People like OP bitching about Apex and MC are lying out the ass overreacting about like 1 stream every week or two. Statistically most people prefer MC streams.Holo doesn't have the perms for gacha usually besides a few exceptions, and because these are female entertainers first and gamers second (or third or fourth) they aren't just gonna go play fortnite or roblox or whatever stupid kid shit people bitching really want but won't say out loud.

Also most of them CANNOT play FPS generally, having usually neither the skill nor the interest, most ENs do not play Apex much at fucking all and it's a once in a blue moon thing for Ame and that's kind of fucking it. Most other ENs have played it either literally-never, or literally-once. Wow so much 24/7 Apex jesus. Beyond that Ame has tried several times at CS (even played TF2 which is about 10 years out past the time it was cool) and Valorant. Actually a number of Holos do play Valorant and OW sometimes. Games like Battlefield or CoD are generally just too.. boyish for girls, if that makes sense, literally only Botan plays those.

So what else is there? RTS are dead, platformers like mario in fact do get played a fair bit, as do random nintendo games like pokemon and mario kart. Fighting games is another FPS situation where girls just do not fucking play those games seriously and almost cannot do them right even if they wanted because it takes a lot of training and they can't be assed to do that for the sake of capturing a tiny streaming niche instead of boot up an easier game.
