Serious talk for a minute, from my own experiences with women in somewhat similar public roles (content creators, streamers, models, etc.), the supportive comments don't really "help", in the sense that they can somehow serve as ersatz therapy and get someone over deepseated hangups.

Also, with vtubers there's another layer of abstraction (and thus self-doubt for the talent) that gets in between simply appreciating the comments. "You look amazing" for example doesn't mean much when a girl with self-confidence issues would easily, in her negative mindset, twist it into "you're just saying that about the AVATAR, you don't know the real ugly me...." (so it can be potentially even more harmful).

Of course, you could also just be talking about her other rl account, but even there, most of the photos are carefully curated and professionally made up. While she appreciates positive comments because she puts a lot of work into this (so she attributes the compliments more to her craftsmanship aspect if anything, than it helps her about her self-image issues with her natural beauty), from my experience dealing with women with similar hangups, these things don't get overcome if just enough hordes of random anonymous strangers on the internet tell them they look beautiful, but mostly because select people that are actually important to her in real life give her the reassurance and acceptance to become comfortable with her own body in everyday situations (so not just glamour shots, of which she'll always have a critical eye due to professional mindset anyway).
