Does this actually get good? I finished Trails of the Sky pt 1 and was midway through pt 2 before giving up due to boredom. It just never really caught my attention, but I keep hearing about how this series is the pinnacle of the genre.

They're way too long, I didn't grind anything and did the bare minimun and First Chapter still took me 50 hours to beat, Second Chapter tooke me 110. Old Ys games would be better since they're not as long and would make for some good zatsu material, they're also pretty similar to Zelda...

I know others have chipped into how tedious these games can be, but I'm very sure there can be creative ways to split streams into sections, where there's a "grinding up levels + zatsudan stream", "rare collectible stream", "catching up with story" stream, etc. On top of that, I'm sure that these long JRPGs can be good for getting other viewers from other streams that have ended, getting the stream into the algorithm from the long durations of playing it, etc.
