that is why I cringe when i see someone blindly defending GFE like its tradition when it has been ridiculed for years, hell I can even go more years backwards in 2008 back when the kannagi yab happened which had JPs burning their manga because kannagi had a potential BF, they where eternally ridiculed on /a/ and /jp/ back then too, or how im@s has always been enforced over Love Live because it aknowledges the male existence and the other does (BRODUCER), which then carried over to /jp/ (every old fag from /jp/ is also an /a/ oldfag) it was pretty much one of the first exposures to GFE in 4chan and it was indeed ridiculed and made fun off since then.
