Miko and Pekora are the two that originally got me into vtubers, I love both of them. The almost Looney Tunes dynamic they had in their collabs was magical, and they're both also very entertaining on their own
Apart from them I like all three of the VOMS girls (fucking rip, Monoe), Luna, Haachama, Korone (I especially admire her sheer endurance to do 10+ hour streams of bad old games, and how you can tell she really does love kusoge despite how bad some of them can be)

I'm 30, I don't have a preference to Oshi but I do enjoy most of the content posted here and by youtube's algo.

I can't help but shake this feeling. I have this rrat about Hololive EN. Judging by the tunes, movies, and even some personal stories they share. I have a real strong feeling that most members of Hololive EN are actually in their late 20s or even their 30s. I don't watch all the streams religiously like some fans do and i spend more time watching clips. But I'm quite shocked how some of the things I loved as a kid are quite relatable to them. I'd probly be watching other youtubers with similar interests as mine, but Hololive seemed like a very interesting mix of anime and livestreaming that I had to check out.

Generally speaking the amount of loudness is inversely proportionate to the amount I watch. I like Ina, pretty much any of the girls who've done ASMR (not because I get it, but it's a vague indicator that they're chill).

I really like Korone but that might be because she's how I got here, and Pekora's fun in small doses. Chammers is such a surreal experience that I get drawn in despite her being basically a fetus. I like Ollie's energy but I actually can't watch her unless I have my volume at like 5%.

I also come to enjoy drinking VTubers more and more. I never really gave Aki any attention but seriously, I do respect what she does now and find her highly endearing and watchable and wish I could go drink with her, Lamy, Noel and Senchou (also Flare she seems fun, bring Miko along she's my oshi).

For a long time I never thought I had an "oshi" since I liked a lot of different vtubers, but I've come to realize that Calliope is my oshi. Haachama took me on a bizarre journey of understanding a character, the actress behind a character, and their fanbase. The character has been both off the rails and chill. The actress has shown daring and a lack of inhibitions but has also shown low self-esteem and timidness. She's pretty open in her latest EP that she knows that Hololive as a company probably won't be around forever, and a career has to be something for her whole life. She enjoys the job but knows she has to plan for 'after'. Hololive is her focus now, so its not like she's just putting in the minimum effort.

Entertainers have to make money somehow, if no one donated anything they wouldn't be able to keep streaming. It's not simping to fund things you like and want to see more of, or to pay someone who's kept you entertained for hours and hours for doing their job well. I don't support anyone yet but I do intend to chip in when money's not an issue for me. A game costs $70 for hopefully 12 hours of content, movies are $10-20 monthly subscription, vtubers are there whether I pay them or not. It becomes an issue if there's an unhealthy emotional attachment that's driving you to spend money, but even with $500 supas, that can just be a rich guy who realizes he's a financier keeping this thing going for the rest of us poorfags

Think I got into the scene through Watame whose incredibly sweet, followed by Haachamas unbridled insanity.

Staying for Botan( pure melted butter in my ears) and Marine ( have dabbled in Flare/Noel, mainly through connections with Marine). So my type is definitely the down-to-earth kind.
