Mother's Day Edition

Welcome to VShojo+! A thread to discuss VShojo, and any vtubers frequently associated with them.

Weekends are quiet. It's a given if you're a VShojo fan and sometimes that's okay. You get the chance to do other things or conduct business you may have otherwise missed out on due to streams happening. Yesterday Vei streamed a bit of her normal weekly hangout but failed to reach the4 section of the stream where she would play and finish Revengeance. But it's okay because she promised to stream today and do exactly that! Just ignore the time she'll definitely be around. Other than that we had Snuffy try ASMR out a bit for the first time and things got out of control as you could expect from someone mashing together the concepts of Snuffy and ASMR. And the evening closed with Mouse hanging out but unfortunately having to end stream abruptly due to some abdominal pain. But nothing to fear she says it's a thing that happens to her somewhat regularly since she no longer gets her lady time thanks to the billions of meds she's on.

But that was all yesterday! Sundays are normally even more quiet than Saturdays but this one's special! It's Mother's Day and pretty much all of the VShojos have referenced their own over time. Last night Mouse talked about having bought her mother a trip to visit some other family over the weekend in particular, and Zen, as the only VShojo who's mother is known to have passed, tweeted out a nice message as well. But, of course, you can't talk about moms and VShojo without bringing up Silver! As the member with the closest on-screen relationship with her mother it was pretty easy to guess that she would be making a big deal out of the day. Though it's possible for things to change it looks like there is a Vale family collab planned with Silver, her mother, and her brother Kon Zetsu! It's also looking like it'll only be on Kon's channel so make sure you don't miss out when it begins in a few hours!

That's about it for now. Enjoy the day as it's not looking likely that anything else will be happening on this Sunday as even the few possible streams will likely not want to overlap with Mamavale's special day given how beloved she is for the community in general. Find something to do with your time but if you'll be spending it here then keep things comfy and civil by ignoring and especially reporting bait, and being excellent to each other.

Hype is fun, sometimes more fun than the actual stream. Sometimes people talk for days in discord or in here about how much they are looking forward to a specific stream, and talking about it is fun. Sometimes I get up in the morning happy thinking fuck yeah, tonight there's this stream I realy want to watch! And I'm effectively enjoying that stream slightly the entire day. That why hype works and why big events get hyped up so much. You dont get that pre-stream fun when they have no schedule or you know they won't follow it. Which is fucking stupid from the streamers side because it's effortless fun, they don't even have to be on stream and their viewers will still associate all of that fun with the streamer as long as they don't flake all the time.
