The problem with a Canadian system and why it would never work with a globally relevant country is simply the fact there's no high quality medical care available. But when you're a side-country like Canada, all the rich people can just go abroad and pay for care somewhere else and all the poor people still can't get good quality care. Well the OP in fairness isn't about how many in total but in proportion to the US. HoloEN for example may only have two Canadians out of 11 members but it only has 5 Americans (one of which does not live in the US) and for a while a lot of retards thought 2 of the other 4 Americans were Canadians. So there's just this perception Canadians are disproportionately represented. But actually if you look at HoloEN you'll notice it's the Americans who are the sole representatives of culturally retarded Anglophones who have no ties to Asian culture.
