If you're playing actively, which is the point of my argument, then you'd know if a coin is a PnD victim and you can profit off it. Now if you have a lot of that coin, you'll only be able to sell 1-2 during the dump and the rest will be left in the dust, but it's nothing a little patience won't solve.

The coin meme came from people talking in generals about streams, events, yabs, etc. I think this should be a supplement to those conversations rather that strictly it's own thing, otherwise yeah, what's the point of playing if it's just to see numbers go up to nothing?

This is neat but the real benefit is compounding interest. Instead of taking the dividend you reinvest it. Say T is at $25(seriously if it was fucking buy it that is a steal). You use your dividends to buy more T. Taking your total shares to 102. So next time divies come around you receive $51 after 4 more pay out your shares are now 110 and you recieve $60(this is an extremely basic and inaccurate explanation but I hope you get the idea.) So every time a dividend comes out the company is buying you more shares of their stock essentially for free which in turn increases your dividend pay out.

There's a risk that the money becomes worth less if everyone can hold coins and collect a daily payout. Even worst is if the daily payouts will further increase the price of all coins. At that point. A coin could be worth 5 or 6k as prices inflate.

But a daily dividend payout might get anons to spend their leftover balance on other coins and keep their attention span longer in the game. But it should be a different category of coin altogether. Like a preferred share where there's a fixed rate divvy payout no matter how long its held and no capital gains to prevent it being volatile on the market.

About the broker, are you going to change what its time is tied to? At the moment, if the server resets or fucks up, the time of transactions change and extends and as seen yesterday also causes dupes. Wouldn't it be best to tie it to an absolute time value and that way if it fails, it skips the cycle until the next one? Probably lock extend cooldowns until the next cycle if it fails as well. I made a chart of daily views compared to lifetime views compared against the post-adjusted price, couldn't find any correlation, then did the same with subs and found a correlation.

So lifetime subs definitely have a very strong effect on the daily price adjustment. Any daily/weekly stuff seems likely to be just minor adjustments compared to the influence of the lifetime subs.

Long term holds will NEVER be a smart play, because stocks predictably crash at a set time every day (allowing you to sell at the peak and then buy in at the lower price) and dividends are completely independent of stock price so even if a specific stock goes to something insane like 5k you won't get more divvies for long term holding it.
