I got burnt out anime back when I was in love with the medium and would start a series just because it was anime and it had cute characters. The series would then fall off at the near end and I felt like I had to slog through the rest of the series because of sunk cost fallacy. Thats why I only watch stuff when its completely done and the series can be reviewed as a whole before I waste my time following it week by week

Honestly there arent many animes I want to watch that are out AND readily available. The high of vtubers is started to fade for me and I am more balanced in trying to find things to make me happy. I stopped watching anime when I started reading Manga. Watching a 30 minute episode that covers 5 chapters VS reading 20 chapters in 30 minutes is a no brainer. I still watch the OPs/EDs of series I'm reading that get adapted though, and I'll usually listen to them when I'm reading updates.

A few months before Myth debuted I saw a clip of Miko saying nigga. I haven't watched an anime since. Vtubing has replaced almost everything anime-related for me. The only anime I intend to watch are adaptations of pre-Miko things I like. And I only know about the adaptations because vtubers mentioned them. Ina told me about Chainsaw Man anime. Emuri told me about Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer. Finana told me about RWBY anime.

Yes. I'm one of those schizos that watch almost every show each season. I've been doing it since I was in highschool but granted back then there was like 10 or 14 shows on each season but nowdays there're like 50 shows running at the same time.
I only watch Hololive and sometimes a few indies. What I do is I put utawakus or gameplay streams as background noise while I'm at work or doing exercise, when I get home I watch anime and if I have free time I play some videogames.

I've never been too big on anime even before 2020 but chuubas have definitely eaten whatever time I ever dedicated to watching anime and then some. If I watch an anime, I'll watch an entire season in a day or two, and then leave it alone until a new season of it finishes.
