Gura was never that good of a singer. Goslings just never understand how to analyze someone's singing. Limited vocal range, and cherry picked songs she was obviously very well practiced for. Her early song picks were very well suited to her vocal range and she obviously was very well practiced with those songs already. I was very impressed with those streams, but it was obvious that she would never make it if she tried to sing songs outside of this narrow range. I like Gura and she got me into vtubers but I already knew from her singing early on that she was never as good as some of the JP holos.

You proved my point. Limited vocal range. Both of those songs stay within the same narrow octave range which are perfect for her voice. But it's obvious that if she were ever to wonder outside of that range she will never make it as she is right now. Anyone can sound great if they find the perfect song for their vocals but it takes a great singer with a wide octave range and the drive to use it to be actually good with a wide range of songs. Gura has a problem with not singing loudly. Not sure if it's because she's self conscious or because of her living situation, but you can hear the immediate difference when she's actually projecting her voice versus basically whispering through a song. She's also small enough that sitting vs standing makes a noticeable difference.

She still demonstrates the same skill she had when she started maybe she's a little better. What is actually happening is Gura hasn't delved deep into other genres of songs so many of the songs are either very similar or normie mainstream stuff. So there's a bit of stagnancy in song variety. Also, people are beginning to find better singers and songs. Gura is top-tier but there are better singers not in Hololive out there.

your question is pretty confusing. there's no point in sending it back for rerecording, unless the artist asks for it, the pitch correction doesn't work because the pitch or intonation is off, or because the actual recording was bad (something like rx can fix noise and other artifacts, but bad mic placement is extremely difficult to fix.) the point of training vibrato is to have natural sounding vibrato. adding vibrato with software sounds noticably unnatural. melodyne doesn't work with presets either. there are macros to adjust entire vocal tracks, but you still have to go back and clean up manually.
i don't listen to her music, and i don't have an opinion on it, but i thought i'd share relevant stuff because it sounds like you don't really know what you're talking about. hope this helps
