On the lower/ meme end, my idea is for the next step below a PNGchuuba:
A JPGtuber
>every time you speak, your avatar gets a random pixel changed
>every time you stream your avatar gets more corrupted
>need to periodically make new avatars as they become unusable

r/placetuber, the audience gets to change one pixel at a time every 5 minutes

I imagine people would just stare up the skirts of their favorite chuubas until the novelty wears off
I remember seeing something about how the Zuccverse was trying to solve that problem.

Which chuuba are you and why are you fishing for ideas /here/?

just code an invisible barrier for the streamer so nobody can get close. but probably won't stop some crazy niger to hack their way under the skirt

>> No.23113952

Idk, animated changing skin of the avatar instead of instant change? Something like growing scale real time instead of the need to go invisible before changing the avatar? What counts as new vtube tech innovation anyway?

Interactive chatbox/layout. Avatar can 'hit' the chatbox causing damage to the box. Or 'Space invaders' chatbox with the comments/supas acting as the aliens

Stop-motion vtuber
Take a shitload of pictures of some girl and have a program put in the face closest to the streamer's. Make it look like that old Sledgehammer music video.

Adoption of vtube studio by the big vtuber corpos. Niji and Holo should just pull a Microsoft and buy actions on the vtube studio company so they can influence the direction and new features they want the app to have.
Alternatively, open source vtube studio clone.

Also while we're on the subject of old animation techniques, a claymation vtuber would be awesome.

Not really an innovation but if there's atleast one vtuber who can follow the production quality on the levels of like DrDisrespect then it would be really cool to see, he's really on another level in terms of doing stream openings, transitions, and doing live ad-libs to etertain the viewers even more.
Also, upload 10min videos regularly with a quality editing (prolly need to hire someone(, the occupation name is literally Virtual ''Tuber'' why are they not doing youtuber things kek
