She was hired to be a Vsinger and to fill a small niche in the EN market. That's why they went for a big name artist with a distinctive art style. She's meant to stand out. They weren't betting on IRyS actually being such a good streamer and integrating so well with the rest of the EN's. She was supposed to be a side project. So they thought they could get away with not supporting her the same way as the normal streams with outfits and stuff. They didn't realise the Vsinger model doesn't work in the west and IRyS naturally fell into the streamer role only now she has none of the support while also having way less control over her own activities
