The vtuber tag started getting popular due to Ironmouse's subathon so a bunch of whores like Amouranth started using it to try to leech.
Then the usual white knights like xQc and Hasan started using it "as a joke" because people were criticizing the whores for using a tag that doesn't belong to them and they think it's funny to wave their huge audience around like a big dick to terrorize the rest of Twitch. It's lowkey entirely just an attempt to bully ironmouse for having more subs than all of these people last month, because as much as people like to spam the xqc anti-numberfag tweet he's the biggest numberfag on Twitch.
