I actually think Towa can "manage" English interactions well as long as there's not a bunch of people talking at once over each other. The OW collab was kind of hard because it was basically EN having a native-level conversation while Towa sits there trying to catch one or two words she understands while also trying to make callouts.
When it's 1 on 1 or just a smaller group it's easier for her because the collab partners will cater to her more and use easy English and make sure she understands. Having a JP speaker there is kind of just a crutch.
