Almost everyone goes through some manner of mid-life crisis, anon. That's close to unavoidable. It's better to accept that fact as soon as possible, because it will make it easier once it happens.
Anyway, my problem with the post was the insistence that you have to "make something of your life" and that you'll for sure have the same immature mindset when you're like 60 years old. Life is ultimately meaningless, and no matter what kind of superficial accomplishments you make today won't make getting older any easier. (In fact, it could conceivably make it even harder since the decline is greater.) Most old people thankfully come to understand this and accept that they shouldn't beat themselves up over not being perfect.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with pursuing your dreams, and as always there's a balance to be had. But this attitude that you ought to punish yourself psychologically whenever you don't manage something is very unhealthy and likely a reason for why the male suicide rate is so high. I'm 100% certain that Fauna would agree that pushing yourself is good, but also that there is such a thing as pushing yourself too hard. Yelling at a depressed person to "fix their shit" is unlikely to accomplish much in my experience.
But who knows the specifics of this particular sapling claiming they are "weak". My first natural reaction is to listen and see why they think that, not to tell them that, yes, they are weak and to "do better". It seems presumptuous.

Well, this turned out longer than intended. I just think the poster I replied to was too rash with his advice, and very much in line what a typical young 20-something would say. Hopefully the original anon can look at both points of view and decide what's right for him or her.

The way we get milk is horrible. We cram the cows in tiny pens where they don't have enough space to move. Then we repeatedly inseminate them so they keep producing milk, taking their babies away at birth which is really traumatic to the cows.Then we have machines painfully suck all their milk out every day. They're treated this miserable way their whole life, which is cut significantly short because they're so mistreated. All while we have ethical alternatives to milk that are healthier. Cow milk isn't even good for you its intended for baby cows. Also it's bad for the environment.

Cars are a much much more wasteful and easier to replace/make more efficient.
Cycling to the grocery store to buy a liter of milk is more environmentally friendly than driving to the grocery store and buying a vegan alternative.

For what it's worth, that's entirely normal. Most people go through stages of their life where they try out new things and either stick with them or move on. Regarding every unexplored avenue as a personal failure is a recipe for unhappiness.
Personally I tried to learn the guitar and how to draw. Gave up on both of those too. I'm okay with it, I found other things that interested me more.
