Okay, can anyone explain to me how a one week old Apex team make a cover? Other Holomem said it needs a lot of preparations and it usually takes 2 months for one cover. Everything is just too convenient isn't it? Isn't this just another soulless unit created by the management, like Umisea? I can already see them announcing 3D live and merch after they win the tournament today.

They did say that they planned to make the team and enter the competition for a way longer time.
But being honest, seeing them making a cover with the team name made me realize a main reason for this could have been a publicity stunt all along, APEX still being a mastodon of popularity.
I mean, all 3 are already popular and the cover would have done very well but the push Aqua had on viewers with this APEX shit is massive.

Also, looking at all the practice scrim days it's pretty unlikely they're winning the tournament. They're a good team but would need a lot of luck to get the wins necessary.
