Elira and Gura are both good singers, but they're nowhere near the professional level. There are vtubers that are actual, legitimately good singers that put them both to shame. Even Elira has passed Gura as a singer, because Gura isn't practicing while Elira practices all the time.

I think Gura and Elira are about the same level of singing talent. Except Elira practices and improves over time, while Gura doesn't practice and gets worse over time. Gura's recent karaoke has been really lackluster while Elira hit a home run yesterday that brought the house down.

Gura will change the key of songs to better fit her range and will do harmonies occasionally. Elira just sings to sing because she loves to sing. And she does it really well due to the amount of practice she has put into it. Elira has changed the way she does vibrato which I personally like better than her vibrato when she debuted and did her first karaoke. But I have only seen her sing songs in their original key. She, like Gura, have really good phrasing that brings out the emotions or story-telling aspect of the songs. So I see why people love Elira's singing. Ame, however, I consider her a bad singer so putting Elira on the same level is a bit offensive.
