In the process of becoming a hobbyist Vtuber (Mostly to help with my anxiety) and I've been wondering, outside of gaming is there any content you lot would like to see a Vtuber do? Just curious.

Reading. If you're not from the anglosphere you can read your native classics and give small cultural contexts to a whole 1 viewer.

I always like watching language learning streams, myself. You could just stream vidya like the vast majority but I personally only watch streamers play vidya I've played myself

Don’t do streams, do scripted content. It takes more work but if done right can do much better on YouTube.

I think there is nothing wrong with using any of the common chuuba formats, such as Zatsudans. Just make sure to prepare a topic and talk through it. Of course it would kinda suck if you had no one to talk to at first but it's good practice for your anxiety if you can prove to yourself that you have something to say, and it helps keeping stray viewers if you keep the dead air to a minimum. It really can be whatever, look at Ame's debut stream.
And never beat yourself up about not doing stuff well enough. You're trying and practicing. Look at Anya's Karaoke in her debut, that wasn't amazing either. And look at your own streams, think about what you would like to do different or better, then do it. Consider singing or instrument practice if you care about doing that. If Kiara can learn to play a banjo in a few weeks, so can you and for voice there is always reverb and compressors. I cannot recommend learning keyboard instruments, entry level songs with a 4 octave range my fucking ass . Or read something, or talk about a language you know and teach some phrases in it. You won't pull numbers so don't make it about numbers, make it about you and your interests.
Just think about what you want to do and do it, even if you do it badly at first. I doubt I am helping but that's what I would do if I tried to become a chuuba. I am not from /adv/ I swear.

Yes, and kizuna got big because of it, as do tons of other creators. Some switch to streaming, some don’t. But start with scripted because it’s better than being a minecraft vtuber

>> No.2254446

>>2253858
Aichan got big at first from timely FAQs, but primarily she did something I call 'scripted streaming' where the content (and sometimes reactions, story beats etc) are completely planned with a lot of room for improv. I think that's the good middle ground for attracting people. Scripted stuff has to be exceptionally good to make it anywhere, even good shitposting gets buried under #shorts

Go for the small, promising and needed attention targets, not big corps fuckery. They're inexperienced with lawsuit and less likely to strike. Double check on how the creator interact with fans to make sure you don't touch a snow flake. Ask permission via mail if needed.

Depends on how creative anf interesting of a person you are on your own. The more hobbies you have or can potentially be interested in yourself, the more unique and interesting content you can output, be that drawing, literature/movie review, coding or anything else aside from mainstream activities like vidya.
