I see nothing wrong with animated clips. There aren't enough of them in my opinion. I sometimes prefer clips of convos to be images with their faces making different emotions, rather than a vtuber staring at a menu and discord icons jumping around in a corner.

No, no. Though you can clearly see which ones are lazy and animate from pre assembled parts/ templates.
