I'm not gonna shit talk anyone who considers her their oshi, but I sincerely don't understand the appeal of Kaela. She doesn't seem to have any interesting commentary, speaks in a voice that lacks any energy, and then says "y'know" or "mmhmm" afterwards. I don't get it. Could you guys please tell me what you love about Kaela and why she specifically is your oshi? I'm genuinely curious.

She's not my oshi but I do like her. What do you mean by interesting commentary? A crash bandicoot stream isn't really where I'd look for that, she's just playing and paining like other streamers do.
As for the energy, that's just a matter of preference. I enjoy the vibe of a streamer with a more relaxed personality and a deeper voice. I'm sure others are the same.
The genki girls will appeal to a wider audience I'm sure but there are people who a type like kaela appeals to.

By interesting commentary, I mean just that. Commentary which catches my attention and makes me actually think about the words that she's saying in a non-negative manner.
Although, to be fair, it might be that my dislike of her voice causes me to find her commentary uninteresting. Except for her going "mmhmm" and "y'know." That part is commentary based.

Just a question then, who do you think is the most interesting among ID3? Honestly, I was put off by her debut and post-debut talk too thinking I like Zeta and Kobo better but strangely enough, I keep coming back to her stream. Even watching it till the end whenever I don't have to sleep early. Aside from her voice which is within the type of voice I'd like, I guess it's her choices of game so far and her rarely-raging attitude while being a decent gamer is such a fresh air to me. The secret agent is a bit too "eh" for my liking (she doesn't do GFE things, at least not that much, but she still gives me that vibes and sometimes she's just frustratingly PON it's not even funny).
While the rain shaman's jokes aren't just for me (I strongly dislike Indonesian streamers' lingo and she seems like heavily inspired by it, her chat is a bit annoying too. Now I'm just tuning in for singing streams).

I feel like this new id generation is the most unprofessional of the entire brand. Every clip I've seen of them is cringy as hell, and their "humour" is just recycled memes from previous gen. Their English and mispronunciations are embarrassing, and not even in a cute way. Zeta is at least tolerable but barely stands out among the other members, her repeatitive style of speaking doesn't help. And Kobo, with her cringe-worthy jokes and talks like a12 years old just discovered streaming .Kaela is the worst out of the triothough. She barely makes an effort to provide interesting commentary and is half asleep most of the time in collab streams. It's hilarious. She's empty and souless. She doesn't even try to have a personality or really play with the character she was given. I think the models are the only reason people are giving them a chance to be honest. I feel like she's both a quirky character and a fully genuine person at exactly the same time, something which I think is hard to nail
