I have a theory about the reason behind the recent trend of NijiEN becoming collab-heavy.
A lot of people noticed that the collab-heavy atmosphere started at around the same time that Luxiem debuted, and naturally assumed that the girls were trying to stay relevant/leech off their success/trying to get some D and many other theories - very easy to believe, shitpost, and spread rrats about.

Luxiem debut was on Dec 21. However, there's another important event that happened just a week later, which just so happened to coincide with when Luxiem was allowed to collab with the rest of NijiEN.
That would be - HoloEN auditions becoming an "always open" type of thing following their JP counterparts.

We already know that a large portion of the NijiEN talents are Holorejects, with at least Pomu, Finana and Shu having confirmed it themselves. Obviously with the permanent opening of auditions, it's always going to be tempting for the EN livers to jump ship towards an objectively better job.

My theory is that this is one of the biggest reasons for the trend of mass collabs in NijiEN. They're trying to build a group that's tight knit enough that they can force their livers to stay with them through simple peer pressure. This is also why there's a lot of NijiEN unityfags around - audience reflects the liver after all.
It will be interesting to see if this strategy works or not.

After 10 days, the trend is pretty clear, at least for this month.
Isegye dominates - helps that they rotate with 2-4 streaming per day. Keeps the audience and avoids heavy overlap.
VShoujo is streaming a lot less, but they can still get top 3 placement. Usually Ironmouse, usually with a raid.
Lilly, Snuffy and Shoto are the strongest EN indies, last still being on a strong incline sine he's basically unchallenged on Twitch for his type of content.
The most interesting parts end up being the non-regulars/non-twitch streamers, like today with Chihiro and Mysta being towards the top.
