So I got curious and went to check on Twitch to compare streamer Vods on games with Gura because Podcasts are ultimately an entirely different subject from a regular gaming Livestream.

I used Sykuno on Twitch for reference who has 4 million followers. Looking at his vods from the last week he gets around 300k total on the low end to 600k on the high end. Gura typically gets similar always usually being in 300k+ realm on the low end while on the high end she gets 800k-1million in a VOD.

For another comparison Pokimane with 9million for the past week with gaming stream VODs typically got between 400k+ on the low end, 600k+ as a middle ground, and 900k+ as her highest point within a week due to the r/place buff.

In conclusion yeah no what your saying is horseshit. Gura VOD wise is well within where it should be for her amount of subscribers and can even punch above her weight class on special occasions.

Giving some of the mods authority to upload community captions would SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the workload on the staff, and would end up with subtitles in MULTIPLE languages.

For official channel stuff, yeah.
For stuff that the talents individually make, they don't bother paying extra for EN subtitles.
Most of Suichan's catalog, Mogu Mogu (and other Ogayu songs), a bunch of Aqua and Towa's songs, Mage of Violet and a LOT of other lesser known JP songs do not have EN subtitles (some niggers usually reupload the songs with different language subs and gets a bunch of views).
Getting this stuff done by the community for free would be a load off the talents' mind, and would help with inclining worldwide.

After I think about it, songs probably won't get a significant boost for views with subtitles implemented. People can listen to songs without understanding the lyrics anyway. At most people only need to read the translation of the lyrics twice or thrice to understand.
In the first place I don't really understand the mind of EOP. Will they not listen to JPsongs without EN translation?
And I have notice some EOP dislike reading subtitles.
I think it's a better move use both english/romaji and japanese title for orisongs or covers and write their name in romaji in the song's title for boosting views.
