There is no legitimate reason a game as beautiful as Elden Ring or with lore as rich as the Souls games to be gatekept with ball-busting difficulty. A "journalist mode" where you could just flip out and kill everything like in Devil May Cry would be a welcome addition to Fromsoft games and wouldn't make the normal game any less fun.
