Problem was that while it may have sort of been the original intention, it didn't really get rid of the nyan sperging in /vsj+/. Instead it just kind of became a safe haven for nyanners fans. This is to see if the same can be achieved for mouse as well.

Now that Mouse and Nyan have generals, I have no reason to go to /vsj/ anymore.

What I don't understand is why this is suddenly allowed. I recall several months ago attempting to start /nyan/ and /mouse/, but the territorial weeb jannies deleted them, then banned me for trying to revive them, because they considered /vsj/ some kind of western containment thread we weren't allowed out of. This is not true. We may have had a number of /pmg/ers come over in the early months to bolster the ranks here for the reasons you state, but we were made not long after /vt/ started because we wanted a VShojo thread here, nothing else.

We were originally /vsj/ without the + but it quickly got established that discussion was going to naturally include Veibae because she was so core to the group even tho she wasn't in VShojo yet. That was when we created the "established list" of other people to talk about and someone changed it to VShojo+. I also remember people trying to cross promote with /pmg/ who basically kept telling everybody to fuck off to /vt/. Either way, this general wasn't created because of /pmg/. Maybe to spite it, but not because of it. I do remember us wanting to call it "VShojo and Friends" because of /pmg/ but settled on "VShojo+" so we weren't seen as copying /pmg/ I also remember the early months /pmg/ got pissed if we linked anything in our thread to them because it "brought trolls". Back then /pmg/ was still in denial that their trolls were just home grown assholes that they had been cultivating themselves for months by being insufferable assholes. Back then I was happy to call them our "sister thread" but after a particularly nasty exchange with some folks there I fucked off from /pmg/ forever and stayed here in /vsj+/.

I was one of the autists who kept this thread alive back in the January-March months and while I was on /pmg/ first, that was because it was the only place to talk about VShojo. I was not what I would consider a /pmg/fag and this place suited me more because I wanted to talk about the girls and while the lewd art was nice, /pmg/ was starting to grow increasingly irritated with this "corporate bullshit". So there were quite a few people who undoubtedly came over from /pmg/, but I don't consider myself a refuge from there because I never really cared to consider myself one of them.
