Collabing with Vshojo is a better deal. Nipplesanji is the enemy and even if it means collabing with Vshojo, or indies, or even people like TT, as long as it buries Nipplesanji into the dirt, then it's okay in my eyes. There is no low when it comes to getting rid of those scum.

The issue is vshitshow isn't the best company to do shit with. Their yabs and talent tell it all. Fans were right to push cover to stop veibae from getting a Collab.

The real problem is HoloEN getting cockblocked from NijiEN collabs. No issue with JP or ID holos but EN is not happening and the consensus is that it's cover doing it.

HomostarsEN if it happens is dead on arrival if they have to stay in a bubble and not be allowed to work with the nijis.

Outsider EN collabs can work if cover just do their job and vet their content. Instead omegatranny blocks them all but vshitshow because somehow ironlung gets the pity treatment from everyone.

from a business point of view, there's zero advantage to collabing with a competitor if they are after the same core audience. they definitely have hard numbers to back this up.

vshoujo has a completely different demographic so collabing with them is advertisement for hololive.

otoh there's zero growth to be gained from collabing with niji. it might even steal/convert some of the holo only fans and split their attention.

if you watch twitch streamers, they very open about this "meta" and some of them show how the analytics work before they collab with people.

I think they're playing it right. They want to have vshojo within reach, just close enough to have some connection with them. But not have them as close allies.
They just need that door open for potential collabs.
Vshojo is a useful third party in the game.
Their real enemy is nijisanji after all. Its an all out war.
They're already making moves together so its better for Hololive to establish some friendship with them.
