It's more dependent on the type of game that they play which brings in specific fanbases, Apex brings in a lot of fans that take the game too seriously and competitively since the game's tournament's are done in teams, viewers can get mad at players that are considered the weak link between the group. Believe Matsuri also had quite a bit of hate thrown at her after a tournament ended a while back, so I mostly think it's just Apex "fans" instead of Vtuber fans that throw all this hate around, and since Chihiro literally plays the game every minute of the day, it wouldn't surprise me if she attracts those kinds of viewers regularly.
