It's not a matter of "working well" Hololive has the whole entertainer vibe going for it, but there are some that definitely don't feel like idols. 99% of the time their job is to be a streamer, and they do idol shit only once in a while. Even then, they rarely get to do that. (Homostars didn't even get to be background dancers at Holofest).
