would you prefer your oshi to read superchats at the end of their streams or not read at all? what's the general opinion on a chuuba reserving a portion of their stream or day just for reading superchats?

If she's not collabing - yes.
If she's collabing - no, unless she wants to.

at the end of a solo stream, usually, but I maintain that a chuuba shouldn't go out of her way to read it. If she just had a, say, six hour long gaming session I wouldn't expect her to spend the next four hours reading superchats

I think there needs to be a superchat reading only stream

>> No.21443141

no superchat reading streams are dumb and just wastes everyone's time, especially since superchats are a drop in a bucket compared to youtube income anyways. They should either read it at the end of the stream or not at all

I don't care much for superchats and like watching gameplay more, I only watch Fauna's superchat readings because I like her tangents she goes on

If she's getting tons per stream, then no. If she's getting a managable number, then yes. Courtesy in both directions.

Large chats with large amounts of super chats- I expect mine to get lost or ignored. I'm not dropping reds so it doesn't bother me.
Small chats with little supers and donations- if they don't read them I don't send them. Simple.

Do the same as Haachama. Close them and tell JewTube to fuck off

My oshi is the popular sheep Watame. In my opinion, a non-anti SC deserves to be read even if it's read offline. Anything beyond that is up to what the individual streamer feels appropriate or comfortable with.
My oshi is an extreme case and can do what she does because of her gifted stamina and throat health. She also somehow made it a core aspect of her content that people like a lot. Last time she read SCs there where +8k viewers at 4am JP time.
Also, I feel that rather than a SC, if you want the chuba to read you, just leave a standard youtube comment. I've heard several times that they get an unexpected degree of attention.

Yes, SC is one of the few ways we can garauntee some kind of direct communication with the talent. I think it's crucial

Either one is fine, as long as they read all of them or at least the ones they find interesting and not just the ones that have more 0's attached. How long as it been since the last Aripeko~?

though there are obvious exceptions here. Collabs, SC heavy streams(like say a birthday stream or w/e), pre-recorded content, to name a few

both listeners and chuuba should develop a sense for this sort of thing, ideally. Be courteous to the feelings of one another.

imagine throwing red superchats to a Vtuber that gets dozens of them a day and is a millionaire or will be one day. they are totally desensitized to seeing them by now and only a donation over $200 will get their attention. you might as well donate reds to low tier Vtubers like Reimu and make a lasting impact in their memory and soul

I know (irl) the mexican guy that donates like 15000k mxn (3k usd) every 2 months to Ina, he does not leave any text whatsoever. He just wants to support his oshi. insert "It's not always about the money spiderman..."

A lot of good stuff comes from the more laid back zatsudan that happens during reading, with the added bonus of (paywalled) audience input. It's a great thing to leave in the back as you do something else.

Sincere or kind words without the attention seeking of giving money goes a long way. Just like anonymous donations are much more appreciated.

let's be fair here. Despite my love for Souls games, Fromdrones are the worst fucking fanbase you can have in your chat. If they were as relentless in fighting bosses as they are in backseating, maybe they could eventually get gud.
