They're not. The off-collab was a little lackluster, some people were disappointed by it, but actual fans are over it by now. The drama itself stems entirely from /vt/ catalog. People have been spamming nijianti threads for hours, trying to elevate this into a yab, and even encouraging raids in their Youtube comment sections. That's why Pomu (and a handful of clippers with clips from the stream) closed their comments.
