Ironically, Holostars does nowhere near as much fujobait as Luxiem does, even MaFia, who are the most that do it the most, are pretty tame in comparison.
Though I also doubt there would be anything particularly impressive/interesting or "new" with them either, especially with how much the fanbase rejects change and just want more of the same, and how much focus Cover clearly wants to put on idolshit and music (unsurprisingly but still), so yeah.

I think that just goes back to what >>21203006 said, JP male vtubers don't have to pander as hard since they are treated more as regular streamers. Some like Kanae or Fuwa have yumejo/fujo fans but they also have a decent amount of regular fans that make the chat not too bad. Same with HoloStars where most are just regular streamers with an anime model. The EN male vtubers has to turn the pandering and gay-baiting to the max in order to compete with EN females, mostly because regular people who are interested in male streamers go to Twitch instead of watching vtubers.

I did honestly try to give Luxiem a chance when they debutted. Tried to actually play Smash with Vox during the couple of streams he had and it was funny laughing at the femanons getting upset during his FNAF streams when he would just recite all the autistic lore instead of pandering to them. Unfortunately that's what it seems like literally all of Luxiem is now. Haven't watched anyone in Noctyx but from what I hear it seems to be more of the same. i think JP culture is very different, for the longest time they didnt have prominent lets players and e celebs due to lack of corporate backing and fear of copy right issues(i assume since copy right seems way tighter over there). vtubing opened the floodgate for gameplay content in general and a lot of dudes were able to have success just being good at games and being entertaining while having the support structure of vtubing companies. so far when it comes to the wester branches of JP corpos, the MO seems to be capitalizing on parasocial relationships instead of general streaming entertainment, which would require the vtubers to pander in some way.
