I agree that it is a fine line, but you're wrong if you think it's no different. To a /nasfaqg/ traders you might be a slave to the big ideas, the spooks, stemming from the collective which enslaved your mind. This is how anarchism/extreme individualism works.

Let me illustrate it: if you tried to spread /meat/ cults throughout /nasfaqg/, you'd likely find people who are willing to partake and experiment. However, you'd very quickly see the whole thing spinning out of control, with sects breaking up, schisms happening overnight, and culture completely bastardized by the individuals who partake in it. Any cultural/religious elements would be lost, irreversibly replaced by whatever personal sentiment a /nasfaqg/ cultist had. They'd likely go public with their likes, since the idea of a social taboo is a spook.

You'd successfully introduce the idea of cannibalism, eating human meat, but you'd fail to establish an actual /meat/ cult following its tenets or create individuals that could be controlled.

You have to be careful, though. Food is a very divisive topic on nasfa/ck/. Basically, once you introduce an idea, you'll spawn supporters and opponents of it out of nowhere, some just vocal, some very militaristic.

For example, the tomatoes. Do they belong in dishes? Are they good?

so /nasfaqg/ is a slave to hipster culture and the spook of individualism as an escape from any collective. take it from someone whose personal politics leans heavily towards libertarianism, you'll never escape the influences of the collective, the best you can do is increase your ability to resist it. and as >>21032130 said, it's good enough if you guys just eat meat. desu, i don't quite know what you think /meat/ culture or philosophy is, controlling people isn't as important to us, anyone can partake in the life cycle, we just want to do so more fully. it's fine if you disagree with us, so long as you aren't trying to artificially resist it. honestly, i figured /nasfaqg/'s desire to struggle constantly for self-improvement to be a good example of the tenet of suffering and rebirth, even if you guys don't recognize it.

A slave to not being a slave, lmao. Leaning towards libertarianism is different from being a bona fide anarchist, though. Especially any form of individual anarchism.
And as >>21032438 said, at best you can expect for some /nasfaqg/ traders to eat meat, some opposing them out of preference, others out of ideology. You'd get the full spectrum of proponents and opponents, with both radical ends of the spectrum being militant about it solely because it's a food item and food debates are more heated than any other kind of debate in /nasfaqg/.

As such, to go back to the beginning, I can imagine that yeah, you will find some individual plutocrats who will be trying to distrupt it. Most probably won't care.

i want to get creative with this one, since we already have english, having something like norse be some kind of proto-english as an explanation for english in this world, maybe i'll make something of a "romance" language for /rose/ lol. anyways, i'm thinking of including the nahuatl alphabet and transcribing it into runic letters that don't actually exist, as well as the nordic alphabet. considering nahuatl's syllable structure, i think i'm going to make runic syllabaries, similar to hiragana in function. any objections /meat/heads?

In this case, I prefer alphabet above syllabaries, since that's what Runes are already. We'll probably be fine with just new letters for tl, sh and ch. Something like that tla and chi syllabary should work well for tl and ch. We can probably pick up something from Europe for sh.

so in short, /nasfaqg/ culture is murphy's law. imo, anarchy in the typical sense is incoherent, but systems that allow individuals to go their own way while still upholding the overall culture and rule-set without the need for people to actively enforce it's rules is possible in my opinion. your system seems a bit unstable as far as i understand it, but that's probably fitting for your thread, and an unstable system that is repeatedly born anew seems fitting to my understanding of /meat/ ideals, so i guess i have a bit of respect for it, at least personally. /meat/ being a fundamentalist autocracy means we're still pretty different in terms of government, but that's fine by me, too.

ok, good thing the script is in it's infancy, so usage is pretty malleable. i'm thinking of making it about 32 letters in total, which will include:
a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p,q,r,s,t,u,v,w,x,y,z,th,ð,tl,sh,ch
i'm making a new alphabet for this, i'm not sure if you understood that part because i only mentioned it in passing, it was going to *look* runic but not contain actual runes, did you want this?

I'm working on the IPA table for the language, which is probably a better way to find out which one needs a letter.

>> No.21037610

I think its quite likely /nasfaqg/ would have some type of a honor culture thing going on. When there are no enforceable legal ways to bind someone into a contract, the only thing left would be trust, either in the moral principles of the other person, or their lust for profit. A Merchant's value is not measured only in merit, but also the weight of their word. Afterall, what worth are goods that are never delivered or are delivered in poor condition, or gold that is never paid.

This "Merchant's honor" would also be part of the reason why plutocrats who are taking opposite sides on geopolitical issues, or are rivals, refrain from using underhanded tactics such as attacking the other's estate or trying to assassinate the other in order to gain an edge. Instead choosing to utilize the commonly agreed upon "proper" methods such as backing entities that oppose one's rivals, challenging the other to a mahjong match to the death etc etc

>> No.21038636

>>21038504
Yes, because the Spaniards weren't too consistent when writing down Nahuatl (or Spanish for that matter), so the same consonant is often written in multiple ways. Since that only happens because the Spaniards are trying to write down their language in a hurry, that should be taken account and not be part of our language. That's why I'm making the IPA table, so that we can know how many sounds are around in order to decide which letter we should give to them.
Also adding the RL Runes to the table for reference.

It should be completed. Overall Old Norse has most of the sounds of Nahuatl, with the exception of the three affricates and sh. Even then, you can analyse them as t+fricative (kind of like how sh is written as tch in French), which will reduce the amount of new letters required down to two (the l in tl, and sh), since both t and s are already in Old Norse.

Any /nasfaqg/ merchants here. I need help developing a local currency for /nasa/ based on "fuel credits". Since /nasa/ uses energy for just about everything in the station from food processing to communication I was wondering if we can base the currency of availability of fuel. Fuel credits would have a cap on availability. And fuel credits can also be exchanged for gold and silver. The credits would be limited to /nasa/ natives because credits are a cryptocurrency. I understand there will be problems when gold and silver becomes the dominant trade commodity to buy foreign goods with. And there is a problem if we let everyone dump fuel credits to but gold. There will be limits on buying gold and silver withdrawals via minting coins. /nasa/ will engrave coins with a print design as part of the exchange fee expending fuel. This is just an idea. What purpose would you be trying to achieve with this currency? Is it for allocation of energy/fuel, or is it meant to serve as a more conventional currency (i.e. medium to avoid barter) that can potentially be exchanged for energy or fuel?
And by "cryptocurrency", what exactly do you mean? It sounds like you're trying to create a currency backed in a good, meaning that it is by definition not a cryptocurrency.

I'm out of town. So this is a late response. The money is supposed to be used in a closed space station. Anything that uses electricity uses fuel. So the money should be there to let you use anything that uses fuel. At the same time the money is capped based on how much available fuel there is. If there's not enough fuel for luxury activities then there's the prices of those luxury activities raise in price. There's also the question of saving money and how it should be spent.

I've been thinking all day. Maybe the currency is just fiat that you use to buy things made with fuel. The less fuel there is the higher the price of goods and services. At the same time the more fuel you have the lower prices of goods and services are. This kind of system only works in /nasa/ station. As its meant to decide when to use fuel economically. The currency won't be traded outside of /nasa/. That's what gold and silver coins are for. We still have to figure out proper conversion rates for fuel credits vs copper, silver, and gold coins.

>> No.21064464

>>21063777
NTA, but from the sounds of it what you have are basically energy credits, a commodity-backed currency. Similar to gold-backed currency. That also means it's the exact opposite of fiat, where the value of the currency is set by some kind of central bank.
The conversion rate would be dictated by how much energy is valued. In a pre-electricity world, kW-h are kinda meaningless, so I guess there would have to be some kind of intermediate product that basically converts fuel energy into something the rest of the world would be willing to exchange for gold.

Ah this granular societal detail, that's what worldbuilding was made for. It's nice to see you're getting use out of that conlang, really adds to it. Just to set the scene, what does a sacrificial altar look like? Are you going for Aztec influences there too?

>> No.21081119

>>21080568
It's actually just (Classical) Nahuatl, although I imagine these terms will be part of the conlang lexicon too
When it comes to human sacrifice, I don't think other cultures can really top the Aztecs when it comes to making a grand show out of it, so it'll probably be similar to what Aztecs have.
So far, the only time a sacrificial altar has been shown is in the Goddess story, which suggests it is at the top of an elevated platform. Given the nature of the sacrifice, the altar used in this case will probably be some kind of slabs or platform with shackles attached. The default state is probably horizontal, but I imagine it might be on a rack or something that allow it to be stood up and rotate for better views.
That said, the Aztecs have multiple forms of sacrifice, not just the "cut out the heart on top of a temple" variant, so I imagine /meat/ has all kinds of sacrifice and associated place/tools as well. The one used in the Goddess story is probably similar to death by a thousand cuts, which lengthens the process as long as the victim can mentally keep it together. The precision probably requires a pretty high level of skills too, and leads to the least amount of wasted products due to how valuable it is.

>> No.21082470

>>21081119
This makes me think of the Aztec sport (tachli?) where in special occasions one or some players of the losing team were sacrificed. That would make soccer way more exciting.
From the point of view of /meat/heads, do they see deiphagy as a great honor to the god being sacrificed, as it would be when they go through the ritual for their own goddess? Or is it an expression of the dominance of their faith over others?
I got around to reading the Goddess entry too, Rushia was really kind of a good fit for this, in a strange way. A nice, horrifying read.

/meat/ is an example of indie extremism
The society believe that nigh-immortal super gods (big corpo chuubas) are throwing the balance of the heavenly realm off. Especially nijisanji constantly vomiting out new chuubas.
When there are too many corpo chuubas, the inevitable collapse/crash will happen
/meat/ believes in culling/sacrificing these supergods so that less powerful indies take their place

>> No.21083926

If /vt/ land ever have a political compass
X-Axis would be Chuuba-Affiliation. Solo indie -> Indie circle -> small corpo -> megacorpo
Y-Axis would be relationship with other communities and itself. Exclusive -> Individualist -> Communal -> Unity
Exclusives care only about their Affiliation only and despises everyone else. (indie thread, KSON, meat)
Individualists care only about their Affiliation but tolerate other vtubers affiliated with them (Gura thread only talks about Gura but mentions the myths, infinity would lewd other holos too)
Communalists care about their Affiliation and their close contacts/colleagues, but tolerate those from other groups (VSPO, Large Indies, WVT)
Unity is self explanatory (VOMS is always friendly to everyone, writing thread, horni)

I actually wrote something similar to the mesoamerican ballgame in the lore: https://rentry.org/meatloaf#ballgame
It's likely to be a common event during major festivals, and some players do get sacrificed. The difference is that in /meat/, the sacrifice is done to players who got too injured to recover, rather than simply being on the winning/losing team. We probably don't rig matches just to get the losing side killed either.
Regarding deiphagy, it isn't really something dedicated to the god in question per se. Basically like what >>21083321 said, /meat/ believes the imbalance of the cycle of life caused by immortal, stagnant gods will eventually cause the apocalypse, and deiphagy is the preferred way to return the essence held by these gods back to the cycle. The rituals are meant to be a way to channel a fraction of the god's essence into the wentli, so theoretically, if this process is done enough times, the chuuba god in question will get killed and eaten, returning to the cycle of life in the process.
As such, it isn't exactly about honour or dominance, but an attempt to save the world by restoring the balance before the whole thing collapses under its own weight. That said, wentli and some awiyani do receive a healthy amount of reverence due to the vital roles they play in the rituals, even if they aren't necessarily willing. Willing ones, though, likely get a lot of respect, and are honoured for their willingness to pay the ultimate price for the sake of the world (regardless of their actual intention).

>> No.21085660

>>21083926
Not really, indies have a high turnover rate so they get sacrificed often.
But /meat/ society rarely celebrate it. If a 2view retires /meat/ feels more somber than joy.
While they won't enjoy it, a retirement is a retirement, and a sacrifice must be done in their name.
The death of a 2view wont do anything to stop the collapse. It would just prolong it.
/#/ doesnt matter. As long as they are immortal (corpo)
We are currently waiting for any of the vshojos to slip up

>> No.21085665

>>21083926
/meat/ definitely prefers eating big corpro chuuba who they consider to be around too long and has gone stagnant, and so probably won't actively seek out small indie wentli for deiphagy. If they do stumble upon someone who really want to get eaten that way, though...
Dead (graduated/disappeared/terminated etc.) chuuba gods are always eaten if possible, because deiphagy is seen as an effective way to keep the life force/blood circulating the cycle, so even if the dead indie is deemed "not their time yet", /meat/ will still eat them lest the life force get consumed by the big ones instead.

>> No.21085735

>>21084578
i wouldn't say we are exclusive. we make friends with everyone we can, we just want there to be turnover in the heavenly realm. it's about the life cycle really. indies tend to have a shorter lifespan and less power to throw the life cycle out of balance compared to big corpo ones, so we don't need to focus as much on culling the indies who for the most part respect the cycle

Yeah, a while ago I mentioned about helping with the road project. I'm not too sure about /meat/ being a source of cheap/reliable labour (which was originally mentioned), but I think /meat/ might be more suited for providing help regarding building roads through a (seasonal) tropical forest - /risu/ knows their homeland well, but I don't think they have a lot of infrastructure experience, while /infinity/ seems quite skilled in construction projects but I don't imagine them being very adjusted to the tropical environment. /meat/ lives in a similar enough environment while having already built quite a lot of stuff at their home should mean they can provide the expertise.
/meat/ has also promised to help /risu/ in terms of getting them up to speed with the whole metal thing, as mentioned in >>21107832. Having tools from /inf/ to help kickstart it will definitely help as well. The idea's that we'll be teaching /risu/ how to find and use bog iron, and once they have enough domestic tools to make better ironsmiths and forges, we can probably get more iron and other metal from the laterite soil (I still can't find how people get iron from that IRL, but I assume it's doable). We also talked about helping /risu/ with ships and sailors while they're building their first seafaring ships.

Speaking of resource, is /risu/ interested in importing anything from /meat/?
Here's the overview of what we have in stock, with a tl;dr list at the bottom: https://rentry.org/deiphagymining

For gemstone, I've been trying to look into it, but unfortunately I'm pretty unsure about it. Given /risu/'s geology, I'm guessing its precious stones will be mostly silica-based, so things like agate, flint, grape agate (which is apparently not actually agate), amethyst, citrine, and rose quartz should be present. It should also have a decent amount of feldspar of amphibole type, but I can't find much about what kind of gemstones they're associated with. I hope this can help for the moment before geoanon comes to help us.

/meat/ should be fairly abundant with groundnuts, also known as peanuts, if that's something /risu/ consider to be nuts. Other possible nut-like edibles include Brazil nut and possibly cashew nut. If you like, we can certainly exchange our nuts!
I think /risu/ might not have these for now (since I use a mostly neotropical ecosystem for /meat/, while /risu/ is probably more Indomalayan), but given the similar climate, growing them natively shouldn't be too difficult. Like many plants from /meat/, the nuts likely will contain /meat/ chuubanite, which likely has the effect of speeding up healing and regeneration, so it could have some medical use if needed.

>> No.21116858

>>21116686
A very old greentext mentioned /meat/ being patriarchal, but I'm not sure if it's still canon, and personally I feel the argument offered there is fairly weak.
Personally I like to think it's fairly egalitarian - priestesses are known to be a thing in /meat/, and if we assume Mai's blessing works on females too (and it should - Mai's female, after all), then there'll be female vikings too. They can probably get high and go berserk as well.

/meat/head here
My personal canon is that the intelligentsia class citizens are fairly equal. Females are allowed to be diplomats, clergies, commanders.
The working class citizens lean towards male-preference because of the need for hardy biology. Soldiers, farmers, fishermen, are male dominated. Due to this balance of power, if any female from the working class wants to become relevant, becoming a doctor or priestess in the intelligentsia districts is their only way out.
As for example, during a raid, the vikingr themselves are male dominated, while the admiral in charge could be from either gender.
In any architectural projects, the managers could be female leading a male dominated workforce.
Then we have the slaves. We literally have female slaves turned into pleasure machines and male slaves drugged to become beef.

21119668

>>21118564
I kind of question the idea that the raiders would be male-dominated. While I don't feel like getting into the argument on whether female soldiers is a good idea or not, /meat/'s selection of raiders is based more on whether someone has Mai's blessing and can handle the physical and mental stress of making use of it. So, if we assume that Mai's blessing is manifested about equally between the genders, then the gender distribution in professional soldiery should be about equal as well. The combination of drugs and veterancy should be sufficient in offsetting any physical shortcomings that might be present in the female raiders.
As for fishing, from what I can find, fishers are mostly male, although if you include the rest of the fishing industry and other means of harvesting from the sea, the male-to-female ratio is less unbalanced, so that might be the case for /meat/ too.
Personally, I don't know if jobs should be limited by gender, or just have a more natural gender preference without explicitly banning either of them. Existing stories shows the clergy have both genders, after all.
As for slaves, pleasure machines don't necessarily have to be female, nor meat from male only...

Visual for a first-rate /morig/ Black Fleet vessel, My Mori's Ship Flashing Sword.
We don't have a lot of those, as they are incredibly expensive to build, but they combine firepower, robustness and handling. The main inspiration are ships-of-the-line, but with a lower hull (less weight and more speed, but easier to board), mixed rigging, and bronze-clad hull for anti-fouling and some mild protection against projectiles and ramming.
Also a sick skull at the front to make good PR paintings.
The chuuni-ness is self aware, seems like a good fit for a deadbeat ship

I wandered in.

I wandered in because I’m weak.

But I can prove myself to be strong.

They cast me out. They called me brittle. But I can show them. I’ll go and meet her myself, and she’ll prove them all wrong for me.

It’s quiet, but it’s never been so loud. My heart. The birds. Every touch of my boot underfoot scattering the brush beneath. The brush, so much. I can barely see.

It’s dark, but my path is so bright. Because I can already see her, welcoming me, holding me in her arms.

It sparkles like a flame. It spins my head around, like she’s cradling me.

The lines between senses blurring, intangible borders obscured by intangible fog. I don’t need them.

I want to see her. I want to see her. I want to see her. I want to see her.

Yes. Their justification makes sense and I see no reason to oppose the motion.

D seems like the fairest option to me.
>3) In a situation where a proposal has an abstaining percentage higher than 50%, it has been decided that said proposal will be set to be revoted on. Should be revote happen immediately in the next round of voting, or at a later date?
At a later date, I guess. Really it should probably be done on a case-by-case basis, with issues being put back on the ballot as soon as it makes sense to. If people are abstaining because the situation is unclear or changing then it may be best to wait and see how things develop. In other cases an immediate revote without abstaining may be all that is needed.
>4) Should there be a unified name for the planet across all nations?
No. Now that we're seeing conlangs develop for different nations, it makes sense that the planet would be called different names by each. Some names may become more ubiquitous than others over time, but we may as well let that develop naturally as we go.

Deadbeats worship Death, whereas I'd say /meat/ worships sacrifice, that's the subtle difference. For /meat/, sacrifice (ending in death) is a means to an end, which is to restore balance to the Heavens. For Deadbeats, Death is the end, and you must meet the Death that Mori intends for you, with no regrets. No earlier, and no later at the expense of your values. A sacrifice leading to a premature death just for spectacle is one of the worst heresies we can imagine.

I also think this is quite likely. You see, a blind pursue of profit and profit only would make /nasfaqg/ traders extremely untrustworthy most of the time otherwise, and thus "Soul" is also related to being able to keep promises, not out of external obligation, but because of internal standards. You are basically showing your immaculate strength by adhering to the rules you've created for yourself and made public.
>>21040923
Contracts would be worthless in the sense that they cannot be enforced by a third party - you don't have a "court" to take it to, or "enforcement" that could encroach it. "Soul" is a thing that quenches insatiable thirst for profit, what holds the traders back from becoming absolute monsters... although, of course, it should be noted that there are those who would succumb to seeing everything solely in a monetary value - such sad state would leave them oshi-less, too. Most merchants have at least some concept of "soul" - they support and believe in their oshi, and they usually honor the spirit of agreements they enter to.

/meat/ doesn't worship sacrifice, we worship the life cycle, which actually creates an even bigger distinction. the way i see it, it's like the difference between nurgle and tzeentch in terms of ideology and goals, except that both of us combine their philosophies in a different way. nurgle wants the universe to die and he wants his followers to learn to be content with their mortality, while also learning to cherish each moment they have alive, whereas tzeentch wants the universe to constantly change, and he wants his followers to constantly strive for something greater. at the same time, nurgle wants the universe to always be reborn, and offers his followers the opportunity to experience it, whereas tzeentch wants his schemes to be toppled, and offers his followers the ability to change the universe in a way that would satisfy them, though the eternal scheming means they would never be content with anything. from /meat/s perspective, you guys are kind of like the immortal chuuba's who try to escape the cycle through eternal life, but instead, you seek eternal death, like the buddhists who try to escape the samsara. we could never accept something like that. for us, there is always something more to suffer towards, and so being in a state of being completely content with the way things are, to the point where there is no longer any need to struggle onwards is almost an alien concept. as a result, we would likely thwart your attempts to achieve your goals of dying content by our mere existence, not that the universe wouldn't do plenty of that itself. we want everything to die, but we want everything to be reborn, and to suffer and change throughout the process, you guys want to be sure that a satisfactory conclusion will come at some point. we want an ever-evolving story that builds off itself indefinitely, while you want a happy ending to commemorate the journey traveled. that's at least my interpretation of it.

Now that you've mentioned it, given that we've kind of established /meat/ running on a meritocratic system, feels like that would be at odds with a gender segregation system (outside things that really require specific gender, like wentli likely has to match the gender of their gods, although personally I'm fine with mismatched gender as long as they otherwise look very similar). I'm not necessarily saying that every job should have the same amount of men and women working in that, but I think at least a noticeable portion of the soldiery (including the blessed ones) would likely be female.
As for Mai's blessing, personally my headcanon is that having the blessing and being able to endure the test (which "push one's body and mind to its absolute limit", presumably by testing the regeneration ability?), automatically allows you into the professional core. Of course, they still have to receive rigorous training to improve their martial prowess, but the value of the blessing itself, and the endurance to make use of it is, I think, significant enough to warrant their entry even if they aren't in shape (yet). Blessed ones as a source of meat would probably be those who fail the aforementioned test (so likely suffering from physiological and/or mental trauma) regardless of their gender.
That said, if we go for our mesoamerican inspiration (Norse seems to be somewhat more patriarchal) for what job would have more men or women, then the archetypical female job would be things that stay at home (or within city), including weaving, brewing, food preparation, healing, and crafting. Archetypical male job would be things that are more "outdoor", so things like farming, fishing (the act of harvesting itself - preparing nets and cooking the fish and such would be more female's job, and pearl diving might also be an exception given historical evidence elsewhere). Exceptions to the archetype is probably not too uncommon, and the clergy (and thus leadership) would likely be egalitarian, as are slaves on the other side of the decision-making totem pole. Some rituals might require specific gender to participate, like the deiphagy ritual mentioned above.

>a blind pursue of profit and profit only would make /nasfaqg/ traders extremely untrustworthy most of the time
it's actually the opposite. the profit motive is consistent, you always know what your getting into, so you never have to doubt or second guess whether or not they will adhere to their word so long as you can make the act of doing what you want the prerquisit of them getting what they want. adding a "soul" to the equations what will make them completely untrustworthy, because you never know what their ethics are, and when they'll go back on their agreements, throwing away all pragmatic and rational thought all because they personally have a different idea of how things should be. you can trust the intelligence of someone who only ever cares about profit to be persuaded by your money, but you can never trust someone who would blindly lead the world down a path pathed with their best intentions. if you are stupid enough to get a reputation for being a scam artist, you deserve the inevitable consequence of being incapable of finding any customers who would put up with you.
>Contracts would be worthless in the sense that they cannot be enforced by a third party - you don't have a "court" to take it to, or "enforcement" that could encroach it.
the other guy said that, but desu, that isn't necessarily true. a free market can, and will develop court systems, and enforcement methods if there is profit in doing so, which i would argue there would be. even if we ignore the fact that private police agencies exist, and that private court systems arbitration agencies, rights enforcement agencies, etc. are becoming a popular idea among those who would advocate for it, "enforcement" doesn't need to follow it's typical definition. journalists and consumer reports get paid to provide information to their customers, and depending on the time period, it could take very little effort to compete in the industry. having a soul solves a non-problem by making other problems worse, kind of like government interference in the market. but that's just my two cents.

she is better than the others due to being an M, but she is still a big corpo immortal that we will eat someday. she might be on the table soon, or maybe not. it would probably be difficult to do sacrifices on her due to the small population of sana-worshipers on /vt/ compared to the possibly billions of sanalites in Outerspace who might counterbalance our efforts, plus you guys are nice, and we benefit more be keeping peaceful relations with you. that's just my interpretation though. maybe others from /meat/ would have a different perspective.

/nasa/ understands we can't be friends with everybody. And when the time comes for us to fight then we will not back down. /nasa/ does want to be friends with as many nations as we can. There's more benefit with having friends than enemies. I just hope /morig/ and /meat/ conflict won't force us to pick a side.

i think of the typical outlook of people from /meat/ as being similar to nurgle followers. jolly people who want to share their religion to as many people as they can, who see their opponents as misguided family and friends who will hopefully one day learn the truth. /meat/ seems to be fairly indifferent/peaceful, even with /morig/ and other rivals, we aren't too judgmental, and we want everyone to be able to participate, and enjoy the cycle of life, but others might see some of our gifts as being undesirable, as while we see suffering as the opportunity to grow and change, and thus see it as a good thing, others see it as simply something to be avoided because it is bad. even if you distance yourselves from us, and even if you are ideologically opposed to us, we'll still offer you a hand if you want it. after all, our rivals offer us the opportunity to suffer, too, so it's all good ultimately. again, that's just my interpretation.
