The general rule of thumb is Twitch if your content is primarily based on livestreaming and YouTube if your content is primarily pre-recorded and edited.

>Do you think there's an audience for X, Y, Z content?
First, ask yourself if you would watch a streamer of your skill and experience. Second, do a check on social media and look to see if other streamers are already creating similar content. Don't limit yourself to vtubers, include traditional real life streamers to scope out a potential audience.

I've streamed on and off for two years now and consider myself an outgoing person (and not a sexpest or creep since my libido is pretty much dead) and almost every single female chuuba I've become friends or acquaintances with has been introduced to me by other friends, usually either males that are super gay or males that are already good friend with those chuubas. I can think of maybe two that approached me and it was still because i was a friend of a friend.

They're probably not assuming you're a sexpest but they're questioning your motives because women are just used to being on guard for weirdos in general.

Big thing you have to watch for. People seem to think chuubas are having all these clandestine business exchanges behind closed doors when all we're really doing is sharing memes and talking about shows we're watching. There's some "business talk" but it's usually pretty casual, even with the larger chuubas I've been friends with unless it's literally planning a stream or event together.

I don't think you need the voice demo. Twitter is usually used as a new content notification platform so most people that land on your page will already know what you look and sound like. They'll simply be bored scrollers mildly-interested with a 5 second attention span unless they go to your Media tab (if you draw/upload regularly)

It depends who you want as you're audience. You won't get as many random views if you settle into game-specific communities, but depending on the crowd you could establish a pretty strong cult following. Like this one game I've been extremely active on since 2008 is finally getting a full global EN server merge. Because of how small-town and idle friendly it is I debuted with >80 viewers from that established community alone and then .240 viewers during my ( PERMA BANNED !) psa. Think of games that people meet each other on and then continue to stay in touch outside of it and you constantly see familiar faces show up again over the years.

tl;dr: no if you are trash at the game and it gets no regular updates/news or is mainstream trending

Schedule, which is often a good idea, as it lets people know what the plans are for the week, so they know which streams they're going to turn up to.
Uses vtuber tag. This should pretty much be used in everything you tweet ever.
Link to Twitch is useful, and youtube isn't just VODs, which is great. Lots of YT-only content, but then the VODs are all into playlists (glad to see someone else doing it), although it's weird to see a vtuber have their face on show all the time, but I guess I've just not seen many streamers become vtubers.
Again, usage of ArtTag, which in this case, I'd suggest not. It means looking up the art tags pulls old schedules, which isn't what people browsing the tag want.
HOWEVER, browsing the tag means I saw the older post that says NSFW okay, so I'd definitely add 'NSFushiW' to bio, or possibly add in "+NSFW" to the "Art+NSFW tag".
Schedule is clear, easy to read. Times are clear, content is clear, days off are clear.

There are quite a few problems with splitting you're audience though. Probably it's best to just do things you like on a regular weekly schedule whether it's working through the campaign on a game, drawing, free chat, or karaoke. A weekly schedule is seriously essential, spontaneous unadvertised streams/clips can help you see how your regular following is doing though. Actually, I've seen people have great success uploading gifs or dank memes that have a like, comment, but no save feature on YouTube, not sure how it's done. It shows up in people's recommended homepage scrolling which is prime real estate.

Now you take the step into a calm game, with gentle music. Passpartout, Powerwash Sim, House Flipper; that kind of thing.
Now start adding in Zelda and the like.

You won't retain the same audience, but you hopefully won't see Ikumi's drop from 1000+ to <200

I like white-person skin colour, Japanese is nice, SEA can be alright. AAmerican can be nice, but they often have overdone nails, which (to me) are grotesque. I'm not a huge fan of non-human colours, although pale/semi-translucent skinned- feet for aliens and so on can be enticing.

But also, your feet, especially as a vtuber, are likely only going to be on screen as fetish fuel, and lots of people just don't overlap on that.
For instance, I don't particularly like stinky feet. Bad foot-smell is offputting. So are long toes.
But then you get people who love monkey-finger feet, and who love the idea of unwashed feet all over their face.
My foot thing comes more from the fact mine are messed up and ugly, and I saw a friend's who were super neat, well-looked after, and it's almost jealously in how pretty and elegant her toes were.
I like the au-natural look, with only a clear polish, well pedicured, and smooth. Hence anime feet are often better than the real thing.

But if you're fetish baiting with it, then consider having a point redeem to change the nail polish colour, and use a filter to set it up in OBS.
Hell, set up a sound redeem of different colours, and you can probably get people to pay for it.
This is, of course, betting on you either being female, or having a convincing girl-voice.
If you're a babi, or a non-passing transgirl, then you might be a bit of out of look (consider leaning into futa, pick up a different fetish crowd).
But also, doing that might get twitch to bonk you.

I'm literally a 0view (occasionally a 1view) on twitch, and desu I just kinda winged the audition because I don't honestly expect it to go anywhere. Introduced myself, told a funny anecdote about how my twitch username is actually something silly that I meant as a gimmick for a very specific niche but then I realized I actually like streaming and would be doing more than that one thing, mentioned that I make my own music and would like to do chuuba music-making streams (it IS a niche people stream, haven't really seen chuubas doing it though), expressed "aw shucks" humility at how far I was punching above my weight actually daring to submit an audition, ended with the usual arigathank you very much.
Going by timestamp, again assuming that the average view time is multiplied by 3 (as the other 2 views were non-watches), they got as far as my twitch username anecdote and stopped watching.
I'm not holding my breath, desu that they watched even THAT long is flattering enough. Means I wasn't so incredibly boring/had such a monumentally shitty voice that they completely tossed me out as soon as they started watching.
As for my own content creation credentials, years and years ago I was a participant in an early-youtube trend that got me a couple vids with millions of views, that trend is long defunct but I still have like 3k subs on my account even though I don't get viewership for shit.
