Anyone else worried about the big names in the indie game overshadowing smaller indies with their drama?

I fear the fact that big indies are all outting eachother it will make people want to check indies even less and less.

Well yeah, that's obviously what's going to happen.

>> No.20839766

Name some small indies and why I should check them out then.

That already happened and is a major reason people fled to HoloEN when Myth debuted. Turns out there is a huge market for people who just want simple, drama free entertainment.

Let's both be honest you won't check them out.
https://twitch.tv/kongouvt he's a nice ninja man it's been awhile since I watched but he has really good zatsu streams and lecture streams...

Just think it's going to be an even bigger flood of people fleeing, I mean one of the bigger twitch ones just got outted by his "friends". I feel bad for any indie that plans on growing to goto hololive.

The only indie I care about is an underaged shut-in Brit who streams on YT. She's adequately removed from that BS

That's why you go corpo. Get your own tard wrangler and limit exposure to these freaks.

I always wondered if sometimes people avoid twitch streamers over all for YouTube ones but I also thought it never made sense. Twitch ones are able to get traction quicker so more people have to be there right?

I mean, as someone who generally avoids EN indies specifically because I associate them with egos and drama and not being entertaining, I can tell you that I still check out any indie vtuber who makes it to the recommendeds in the algorithm.

If my answer is indicative at all, then plenty of people will still give indies a chance, as long as it's not someone whose name they know and associate with existing drama. I never checked out indie tubers too small to get picked up by the algorithm though, so I don't know how those people's habits are affected by all this

Twitch vtubers were always a mistake.

Fucking vendettas and shitflinging is how you get views on twitch, these indies are just doing what every retard that uses that shit website is doing. Anyone that isn't retarded should stay far away from that platform, I'll take youtube's fucking bot moderation any day over their cronyism and politically motivated moderation.

It's easier to get big as an indie on Twitch. I don't know how she did it but she's doing fairly well on YT.

there are many more people on youtube, but they're mostly happy to stick with Hololive.

You now realize cancel culture was always a way of uprooting the competition, and a tool to put yourself forward

I've come to realize that I prefer 2view streams to begin with. I do want everyone to succeed, but going big just changes the experience fundamentally.
