Haven’t watched Silvervale in a while, wtf happened to her face? Like at first I thought all they did was make the mouth bigger, but after watching more I noticed something about the shape of her face seems different too now. Something’s off about it all and I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Westerners can't into shape and symbol language + they've been taught to make everything ugly since basically birth. Your typical anime style is based on certain symbols, but westerners often fuck this up with cartoony form based shit they learned from Disney. Also they add unwanted features like overdone lips and noses, and they typically can't do neotenic features well, which is why every female looks like a 30yo woman.
