A thread to discuss the in-universe feats, backstories, and general lore of Hololive and Holostars members.
Discussion of lore-based fanworks such as comics and fangames are welcome as well

I dunno about you guys, but I'm super autistic and came up with this headcanon backstory for Roboco
>Roboco hails from a futuristic alternate world similar to Aki, where she was built as part of a line of state-of-the-art all-purpose android housekeepers known as RoboCompanions
>These RoboCos, if you will, were designed to essentially relieve their owners of all the busywork of daily life - cleaning, cooking, laundy, entertaining the kids, etc. - without having to hire a maid or etc.
>Subsequently they were given stereotypical personalities for such a role, gentle and friendly and feminine, and made to be easy on the eyes for both kids and adults as well (hence all the fun accessories and... gratuitous figure)
>They were also programmed with basic combat training for home defense, explaining her aptitude for guns, and could self-repair if needed to spare the hassle of manual maintenance
>Eventually, though, this world fucked up and destroyed itself in a nuclear war because of course it did, becoming reduced to a barely-hospitable wasteland
>The RoboCo units survived because they're robots, attempting to survive in this new world without their homes and masters and eventually developing sapience due to operating so far outside their normal parameters for so long if they didn't get destroyed
>Entering this ruined world, Hololive's extradimensional scouting team initially wrote it off as a dead world, but ran into Roboco by pure chance as she wandered, wearing only an old bomber jacket as all her regular clothes were torn up or fell apart long ago

I think Ollie off-handedly mentioned Rushia reviving her once, although hard to say if she knows for sure or is just guessing.
I mean if you died and woke up as a zombie, and then you met a Necromancer, you might draw that conclusion.

Not bad, and it could be explained that they studied her tech to later make Rikka, who's stated to have been created specifically for Holostars

Oh shit yeah, I didn't even think about connecting her to Rikka. Would that technically make her his mom?

I don't think so since that since that implies she built him herself or that he's a direct successor to her. I think comparing the two would be more similar to the RX78-2's relationship to the GM, where one's a more simplified and easily mass produced model based on the predecessor
