Considering its longevity, it's not a horrible way to transport food, although likely just delivering grain would be superior.

Unless it's a better pasta than one that can be made locally.

Invest in nuts

>> No.20304164

>>20303796
I was thinking about ways to refine excess wheat we can't trade. Alcohol is obviously one way of processing them but it takes a while. Wheat beer also eventually expires. Pasta would be a great way to store excess wheat as long-lasting food you can cook so long as you can boil water. You just have to figure out a soup or sauce to go with it.

>>20303798
Will wheat be acceptable payments for nuts or do you also require jams and preserves?

>> No.20304281

>>20304164
Grain is actually a great way to just export wheat. Historically there was a large grain export trade between Eastern and Western Europe, and it's for a reason - the only grain-based good that'd last longer than grain itself would be high-proof distilled alcohol.

>>20286990
>Do we want a rep to be responsible for making posts like this one, where matters are voted on? Y/N
No. Technically I support it but putting that responsibility on one guy might not be a good idea - instead, why not let any thread representative bring up issues to call them to vote?

>A decision has to be made regarding /jp/; is it in an alternate dimension, is it on our current planet? If it is the latter, is it on the surface, but not shown on maps, or underground?
This world, it completely lost to us. I would like if it was mythical / religious. Antediluvian. IRL people either believe the great flood happened as per Judeo-Christian teachings, and there was a world and civilization before it, or they believe it to be a myth. I'd like if it's something like that.
>Connected to the above, is the vt planet Earth sized? Y/N. If N, what alternatives do you suggest?
Yes. Earth sized.
>As a matter of fact, what should the name of the planet be?
Veetee? I'm not good at names...
>Should /fbk/'s and /mion/'s locations be swapped? Y/N
Yes, I don't see why not
>Should /OKFAMS/ be also added on the map, perhaps around the area of /duck/, /mogu+/doog/, /fbk/, /mion/? Y/N
Yes, again I don't see why not.
>Should /pyon/ get their rabbit island(s)? Y/N
>>If Y to the above, what should happen with the now empty /pyon/ location? If N, should /pyon/ remain where they are or be moved to an already existing island around them?
Yes. Give them the three islands that was once between the Indie Isles and the Holocontinent. Maybe move them close to their current location.
>>Should /israel/ and [insert another new thread I forgot the name of] be added on the map? Y/N
>If Y, where?
Yes, make them spring up in the borders of the countries of their relevant continent. We have HUGE countries right now if we're going with earth sized - it won't hurt to make future generals spring up from their land.
>Similarly, regarding any new threads added from here on out, what do you propose is done for them to acquire land?
Choose a relevant location based on their relations with other generals.
>What should happen at the poles?
At this point in history, nothing. Maybe /nasa/ can build research centers there in the far future.

>Multiple lore proposals have been made in this thread, following a brief a explanation of what transpired during the incident from a fandead, however nothing concrete was decided upon to be anchored.
I love these two suggestions
>>20274692
>>20272390
>Similarly, for chuubas that graduate, or vt-related threads not tied to any specific chuuba fading away, should a set way to erase them from the map be decided upon or should it be investigated on a case-by-case basis?
Case by case.
>Regarding Jannies and the smiting that may or may not be incorporated into Rushia lore;
It was discussed a few threads back that they're sort of celestial and/or primordial beasts that different cultures view differently. They work in ways beyond our comprehension but it's clear they are trying to keep the status quo. /meat/ thinks of them as demons, /hlgg/ thinks of them as dox-smiting angels, etc.
>Is Chuubanite the final name we want the material to have? Y/N
I like Vitubium...
>Is it radioactive? Y/N
Depends on the user's lore.
>Does it differ from nation to nation, meaning it absorbs some of the qualities of the thread ruling over the area it is in, or is it a simple element which is used differently by separate nations depending on their lore?
Differs.
>If the answer to the above is the former, what happens when the land the chuubanite is on changes owner?
They get access to some of that chuubanite / vitubium until it depletes, meaning it is limited.
>Is Chuubanite only found in the ground initially, then spread around by plants/humans/bacteria/planetary natural processes, or does everything inherently have Chuubanite in them, like mana?
Start in the ground and spread out
ADDITIONALLY I would like if it's a rechargable resource that is powered up when the associated chuuba streams. Nations with oshis who rarely stream would find alternatives or justh ave very potent chuubanite or efficient use of it.

Yeah, there would be no standing armies, since there is effectively no central government other than the Devs taking care of the Stock Exchange and banishing traders for truly foul (monetary) transgressions.
All of /nasfaqg/'s army and navy is in private hands. Navy would be collectively massive and very advanced, while the army is likely to be just small elite private forces, really well equipped and "advanced" to the baseline (as I said, 1800's to maybe 1820's). That being said, if fighting needs to be done the plutocrats would rather hire mercenaries rather than using their own forces.

Things to be voted on:

Regarding thread management:
>Do we want a rep to be responsible for making posts like this one, where matters are voted on? Y/N
Similar to the representative suggestion before, I am proposing this thread itself has one anon, most likely a representative of a thread, be the head of committee of sorts (ESL so idk what to call this in English, hopefully you get what I mean), who will gather all matters that need to be decided on in one post, so that the various nations' responses are all in one place and we can actually reach a decision in a timely manner.
>>The next 4 matters to be voted on are related to the above:
>Would such a position be permanent or rotating?
ie Would it be just one thread making the posts, or would responsibility be handed to a different thread at set intervals
>What would you suggest is a sensible time (ie day of the week/month, also time of day) for the vote post to be made, and how long should the votes be kept open?
>Should a different anchor post, similar to the prompt and lore ones, be made each thread for people to attach their suggestions to, that can then be voted on the vote post? Y/N
>Do you prefer a voting system like this one, where reps reply on one post and their answers are gathered at the end and summarized, or using poal links?

Regarding the map:
>A decision has to be made regarding /jp/; is it in an alternate dimension, is it on our current planet? If it is the latter, is it on the surface, but not shown on maps, or underground?

>Similarly, regarding any new threads added from here on out, what do you propose is done for them to acquire land?
>What should happen at the poles?

Regarding the Rushia situation:
>Multiple lore proposals have been made in this thread, following a brief a explanation of what transpired during the incident from a fandead, however nothing concrete was decided upon to be anchored. Ideally, we would get an in-universe lorepost from a/the Rushia representative. I see that may be difficult, so reply to this question with your own lore, either by writing one now or linking a previous post.
>Similarly, for chuubas that graduate, or vt-related threads not tied to any specific chuuba fading away, should a set way to erase them from the map be decided upon or should it be investigated on a case-by-case basis?
>Regarding Jannies and the smiting that may or may not be incorporated into Rushia lore; what are they in regards to our world/pantheon, and what effects and powers do they have?
Specifically, assuming their existence is acknowledged, what can be said for eg /meat/, that gets deleted on a regular basis?

Regarding Chuubanite:
>Is Chuubanite the final name we want the material to have? Y/N
If N, suggest alternatives
>Is it radioactive? Y/N
>Does it differ from nation to nation, meaning it absorbs some of the qualities of the thread ruling over the area it is in, or is it a simple element which is used differently by separate nations depending on their lore?
>If the answer to the above is the former, what happens when the land the chuubanite is on changes owner?
>Is Chuubanite only found in the ground initially, then spread around by plants/humans/bacteria/planetary natural processes, or does everything inherently have Chuubanite in them, like mana?

I appreciate this is a long ass post, but these are matters we need some answers to if we want to move forward cohesively.
Feel free to add your own suggestions at the end of your posts. We will likely need a Round 2 of a vote post, as some questions ask for suggestions, so they can be discussed then.

I should ask, though, if they decide to not be rosebuta but maintain their original form, would them sinning against their own goddess cause the same transformation that turn rosebuta into Babirusa? Or is that something unique to rosebuta?

If they choose to not be a Rosebuta and be a plant person instead, they would be safe from becoming a Babirusa. That's a Rosebuta trait, not necessarily a plant person trait. Although, there hasn't been much research done into other plant people. It could be possible that they have their own unique transformations that could strike as a result of committing sin. Oh wow, this guy had an actually excellent write-up, down to referencing one of my one-off posts in /ahoy/ and the heimin who passed me the archives over the dummy Twitter account.

Essentially, as far as I can tell you, to fully expound upon the current state of things would require introductions of the concept of extra-planar spaces, both demi-planes created at will and doorways into adjacent major planes where communities occur.

Another thing is that in this case it may be useful to rip the separation between a god and their domain. Or maybe even form a trinity, in a sense; the body of a chuuba that represents them, the soul within that mantles the body, and the godhead/quintessence of what they mean/are. A graduation/firing would mean the death of the body but the soul and essence remain, the death of the soul is...well you know, and the death of their quintessence would mean that what they represent becomes fundamentally altered. Since in this case the soul unintentionally killed the body to try and save the quintessence.

As for what the land is now, you know how when something passes an event horizon of a black hole, the image of the thing crossing the event horizon just kinda slowly fades from view, it's just a fading afterimage? I imagine looking at it right now is a slowly fading afterimage of the peak of the disaster with barbarians picking at the ruins at the outskirts outside of the "event horizon".

Either works. While I assume that some people have no issue operating pseudonymously under the same identity as in /nasfaqg/, some people prefer to stay anonymous.
I think it'd also be acceptable for /nasfaqg/ traders to set up "fictional" companies unrelated to their accounts if they want to avoid namefagging. Basically, as long as a /nasfaqg/ resident is involved in the deal, I'm fine with however they choose to write their lore, be it expanding on their already existing company or creating another one for /vtwbg/.

>>20327655
Yes, I'd say that it's completely okay to include smaller individual traders. They do exist, and while there are some people who are rising like crazy and will soon join the Top 100/Top 200, there's a fair amount of people with lower capital who just play casually.
It's alright to include them in lore or to create fictional merchants like that. Basically, same reason as why I wouldn't hesitate to write about, say, a single small-time /meat/ chieftain in lore or a /ggg/ librarian. It's all for flavor, and I'd assume that a lot of trade is done by small-scale individuals who, for example, just have a single ship and a dream to make it big.

/nasfaqg/ rep here. I asked the thread for their opinions on some of the issues present here, so I included them wherever it made sense.

Thread management:
>Do we want a rep to be responsible for making posts like this one, where matters are voted on? Y/N
Abstain. A poster in the thread suggested that making votes should be a free-for-all, but I disagree personally since nothing ever gets done this way unfortunately. I think that the most reasonable way of doing it would be 24h period to push suggestions for votes on Friday (anyone can submit something to be put on a vote) and then 48 hours of voting period during the weekend where a rep compiles everything, like in this case.
>Would such a position be permanent or rotating?
Abstain, same reason as above. Personally, I am fine with this position being permanent for consistency, as long as the poster clearly stays impartial.
>What would you suggest is a sensible time (ie day of the week/month, also time of day) for the vote post to be made, and how long should the votes be kept open?
Friday 24h for suggestions, Saturday through Sunday 48 hours for voting. 00:00 UTC seems reasonable but as long as these things stay open for 24 hours or more there isn't an immediate need for a specific hour.

>Should a different anchor post, similar to the prompt and lore ones, be made each thread for people to attach their suggestions to, that can then be voted on the vote post? Y/N
Yes.
>Do you prefer a voting system like this one, where reps reply on one post and their answers are gathered at the end and summarized, or using poal links?
Definitely this one, not poal links. Additionally this would strengthen one thread = one vote.

Regarding the map:
>A decision has to be made regarding /jp/; is it in an alternate dimension, is it on our current planet? If it is the latter, is it on the surface, but not shown on maps, or underground?
Not on the current planet. If anything, it's on the volcanic moon orbiting the world.
>Connected to the above, is the vt planet Earth sized? Y/N. If N, what alternatives do you suggest?
Yes, it is Earth-sized.
>As a matter of fact, what should the name of the planet be?
No opinion.
>Should /fbk/'s and /mion/'s locations be swapped? Y/N
If both of those nations agree to it, yes. If the reps of neither answer in their threads when asked about it, abstain. If even one disagrees, no. Additionally, it'd be nice for neither /fbk/ nor /mion/ to be landlocked, so figure out a way to access the bay area.
>Should /OKFAMS/ be also added on the map, perhaps around the area of /duck/, /mogu+/doog/, /fbk/, /mion/? Y/N
Same as above - both agree yes, no response abstain, single veto no.
>Should /pyon/ get their rabbit island(s)? Y/N
Yes, since Kiki showed interest in the project and the island size isn't absurd.

>> No.20329544

>>20286990
>>20329504 (cont'd)
>If Y to the above, what should happen with the now empty /pyon/ location? If N, should /pyon/ remain where they are or be moved to an already existing island around them?
Reserved for a future thread. You know there will be one. It'd also give us a bit more flexibility in regards to the map placement.
>Should the land acquisition of /who/ over /uuu/ be voided? Y/N
Yes. Inactivity of other threads should not be a reason to take land from them, since they might eventually get an active rep - think /risu/ or /mep/.
>Should /israel/ and [insert another new thread I forgot the name of] be added on the map? Y/N
No. If they ask to be included and stay in /vt/ long enough to be stable, then yes.
>Similarly, regarding any new threads added from here on out, what do you propose is done for them to acquire land?
As threads are added some threads will die. Primarily add them on those locations, and if that's unavailable, either create islands near the tectonics or carve out bits of land from several long-term inactive threads.
>What should happen at the poles?
Polar ocean.

Regarding the Rushia situation:
>Multiple lore proposals have been made in this thread, following a brief a explanation of what transpired during the incident from a fandead, however nothing concrete was decided upon to be anchored.

Case-by-case basis.
>Regarding Jannies and the smiting that may or may not be incorporated into Rushia lore; what are they in regards to our world/pantheon, and what effects and powers do they have?
Spiritual entities of some kind. Could operate like Agents from the Matrix, hiding among regular posters.
>Specifically, assuming their existence is acknowledged, what can be said for eg /meat/, that gets deleted on a regular basis?
I think it's fine to write that /meat/ has difficulty dealing with them, but unless the thread is perma-banned rather than regularly deleted it should be fine.

Regarding Chuubanite:
>Is Chuubanite the final name we want the material to have? Y/N
If N, suggest alternatives
I think that "Chuubanite" could be one of many mineral forms of element Vitubium/Vitium (Vt).
>Is it radioactive? Y/N
Not in the traditional sense. It can emit magical radiation, but it would need to be defined further.
>Does it differ from nation to nation, meaning it absorbs some of the qualities of the thread ruling over the area it is in, or is it a simple element which is used differently by separate nations depending on their lore?
While Vitubium is the same everywhere, the mineral/ores containing it are different in every nation, deriving their powers from the respective chuubas. Threads are simply located over the chuuba-aligned deposits.
>If the answer to the above is the former, what happens when the land the chuubanite is on changes owner?
I don't want wars/conflicts over Chuubanite and conquest to get specific forms of it, so I'd say that when land is conquered from the thread worshipping the specific vtuber, the mineral deposits/ores lose a lot of their qualities.
>Is Chuubanite only found in the ground initially, then spread around by plants/humans/bacteria/planetary natural processes, or does everything inherently have Chuubanite in them, like mana?
Rock for the mineral. I'd imagine the element itself might leak to the environment, but few lifeforms can utilize it.

Yakutia and Greenland aren't all too different functionally, I think the north third-ish of the country would be pretty damn close. In my head the southern bit and especially the south-west corner are Greenland-y. On my current WIP version of the country map I have the capital in the rough middle of the country but I might move it into the corner. I don't know if I'd get away with giving us as much water as is in picrel but there'd probably be some smallish seasonal inland lakes in the south. Will work more on it tomorrow.

So good news... if your country (kson-coco, zomg, rbc) got Tundra you could technically make use of it. Inspirations you can use are Norilsk, Nuuk, Inuvik. So keep in mind, tundra doesnt mean 100% cold wasteland. That's Arctic biome
Bad news, you guys have to go extra creative with the magic and tech

Ill do some archive reps but I believe we said it was ok to some extent of chuubas having an influence. And since im going for the druidic/shaman approach I thought it would be fitting for risu to use her powers to bless the forest instead of it being magical simply because of some rocks and the risuners doing the yearly nut tribute just to give risu food. But if your all against chuuba god powers ill fix my current lore. I read archives at lunch break at work (where sadly i cant post since IP range is blocked all the time) so let me know bois.

I'm not this specific deadbeat, but I agree with his proposals. A company town would bring a lot of movement to the economy, and making ties to /nasfaqg/ is a net benefit.
I would make an addendum, since then we and /meat/ have gentlemanly agreed that /morig/ would have a rivalry with /meat/. Meat vs Bones, we're located to be prime raiding shores, and our relation with our goddess makes their religion completely blasphemous to us.
So we would include a clause forbidding the passage of /meat/-related merchandise or related human resources (raider crews and such), reserve the right to enforce this clause.
Mind you, smuggling and contraband are as old as whoring... But if we caught wind of such things we'd have to apprehend the individuals responsible.

The thing about these suits is that they would need more than batteries to charge them. Especially if they can carry 1 metric ton of material on Earth. We could have nuclear power cells but that still poses a risk to the environment. Another option is a combination of solar power and combustible liquid gas for fuel.

The suits seem a bit strong at a glance, but what really buffs them is "1 ton without much trouble". That's like, an immense power output. Almost equivalent to running around with a civic on your back, depending on the weight of the suit itself. I would replace that with "1 ton with large energy consumption and exertion" so that it's more in-line with what would be required of an exploration suit.

Half-ton is pretty up there but its doable. Even then half-ton is a generous over-estimate. The suits still have to carry the weight of armor, fuel, the pilot, and other tools the suit has to carry. not sure why did somebody crosslinked this thread in a michael neko general and told me to explain myself but after popping back in for more lurking I think that the fandeads so far had some pretty great posts and synopsis.
There was one post that mentioned finding nothing but ruins and abandoned bunkers and I liked it.

There's something I'd like to add that involves the thread and its previous/current(?) userbase going forward but also ties into the fanbase at large that kinda weighs a little on my heart and also feels like it could be turned into some interesting lore but I'm finding it difficult.
It's basically that going forward, a lot of places her fanbase collects have chosen to repress information of mikeneko prior to the 24thish. Both her activities as mikeneko and as rushia.

Many of the obvious places are filled with people that never watched her. Deeper in, you get actual fandead but even then most of them knew nothing about mikeneko let alone watched her actively. Even after you dig into some of her most fervent supporters there, you always have to watch yourself and what you say instead of assuming you are on the same page.
When you talk about events and have meaningful context, you still can't bring it up. Translations out there ignore, deliberately or otherwise, crucial context for things she says and does.

I've tried very, very hard to look for other English-speakers similar to denizens of the Fandead general. I have looked through /vt/, /jp/, Twitter, Reddit, Discord, everywhere I could.

I have come to the regrettable conclusion that, outside of perhaps an exceptionally well-hidden few, no other fans like us exist. When I've met those who were on the same page as me outside of this board, every single time, it was just the account of a thread regular I already knew.

Going forward, her story will be written as if her old stories from before the calamity didn't exist, and in this is compounded by the person themselves being discreet about the past as means of acclimating to the complexities of her current circumstances.
I've realized In a fanbase of thousands, maybe tens of thousands, the small group represented by the gachikoi of the past and the present who actively followed her two sides in the past and now this "new" form will remain as the only ones who can can serve the original purpose I sought in other fans, which is to find those others who love and obsess over her and share information and opinions freely, a network where each individual focused on her but mutually beneficial in that by sharing we would garauntee as much knowledge as possible while also seeing that others existed who saw the true nature of things.

I don't miss the thread, because it's a fucking 4chan thread for gods sakes, that'd be retarded.
But what its death represents makes me sad. Before these events, Rushia was the face of a secret out there to be found for those who cared to look. The context of her past activities continued to affect her on-going content once you found her there, and though she and Rushia were disjointed, they were both continuous; Rushia spoke about and as if the Rushia of a month or a year or 2 years ago happened, and mikeneko likewise spoke of the mikeneko that was until now. By virtue of this continuity, there was a genuine sense of growth in that sense. Her words felt "secure" because of them being causally tied to future events in the continuation of her content as either mikeneko or rushia. The 2 stories were disjointed, but together they were the whole story. (well, almost- one previous vtuber identity remained a void).

Now the string of causality is cut. Her words before existed, but few will acknowledge them. Even fewer accept them for what they truly meant, and that number may only decrease over time even if the relationship between her and her viewers does not truly change simply due to context.

Before I welcomed newcomers who cared to seek the deepest level of meaning and aqauint themselves with her but the roads to the past are closed. All causal connections to future content have become declared publicly as severed, and therefore feel as if they are in the process of actually being severed.

For some reason, no matter how many thousands of people exist in the fanbase, it's startling to see how unique the Fandead thread users were among her English speaking viewers. And from now on, the numbers of such fans are locked, as the context required to become one is gone. It's comforting to see the meaning in between the lines of what she says and writes, little hidden signals to us that she still remembers and holds close to her heart the words we exchanged.

But even with that, there is still a fundamentally lonely feeling to it all.

Fandeads could find other oshiis and therefore move to other generals and find their community there. Sorry about your loss, but there's nothing we can do to bring Rushia back.
