What the Temako doin?

If thin cables can be passed through the gaps in the shed, the shed could be a soundproof room for ASMR (even though it is super small).

Sounds like she got interested in a new asmr setup. I can usually hear a lone car pass at night, but that never bothered me.

Temako was talking about riding her current momentum and buying a KU-100. I don't think it's a good idea.
For ~$10,000 dollars, it would be the best ASMR mic, but I think adding KU100 to her ASMR stream titles would only get her 10% ~ 15% more live viewers and archive views.
And those new viewers wouldn't be likely to give so enough akasupa's to make the money back.
But I'm really happy that Temako is getting more popular.

I think that it would be a better idea to spend some money on games to attract an audience on that side too. I know ASMR is what's working for the channel, but if you never play big games with moments lots of people want to see, you may be missing out on a whole nother audience. 10K is pretty expensive of an investment, and I think it could be applied more efficiently in other ways.

The last thing Temako needs is more video games. Among other medium size Vtubers I follow that do both ASMR and another content type, ASMR outperforms everything else by a significant margin. The only recent exception I can find to this trend are Dark Souls, Elden Ring, and maybe Master Duel. People aren't interested in watching video games right now unless it's somebody really popular.

Not to be too pessimistic but I think 20K is the best she could ever achieve in the current indie scene. Vtubing as a fad has already passed, and the only thing that still keeps big numbers coming in are corpo fans. So she should keep on trying to get into a larger corpo if she can, also she should really get back to a more positive ASMR/gaming balance, even if ASMR is more dominant

There's a strange misconception that sensitive ASMR is more popular than seiso ASMR. It's easier to get people to click on a lewd thumbnail, but the content isn't necessarily more popular.

The correct game to ASMR balance is 100% ASMR, 0% video games. Video games are a debuff for indie Vtubers unless it's a popular game and you're good at it. I think she should try other content like zatsudan or karaoke, but games are the reason Temako spent 9 months going backwards. There are a few independent Vtubers that have managed to become successful, and it's almost never due to video games.

Yet her channel didn't start growing again until she started taking ASMR seriously. Don't get me wrong, there are lots of unsuccessful Vtubers that make bad ASMR. However, among the ones who are good at it, the numbers aren't even close.

Then she needs to keep doing that. Part of being a successful youtuber is knowing how the algorithm works and using it to your advantage.

Personally, I enjoy her gaming streams and ASMR equally, and would like her to branch out into more stream types. Honestly anything she streamed I would watch. But it seems that her recent ear licking ASMR streams were favored by Youtube's algorythm, and got good views, video views, and subscriber growth. One option would be to focus on that content, and I see some Vtubers do just that. Another option would be to make an effort to do more collabs; that is less likely to bring a lot of sub growth but having a good network of friends helps in other ways, like advice or support or friendship.
I want Temako to grow, but her becoming an Earlicking robot or doing more and more ecchi things until her channel gets banned might not be what makes her happy to be a Vtuber.
