Are people really okay with Gura not finishing any games? That's kind of the best part of seeing a game come to its end and everyone celebrates with the streamer for finishing the game. Even though we had a recent one after a long absence on no games getting finished for months, the last actual good one we had was the RE7 stream. If they don't finish it, we're stuck holding our breaths as not to spoil them in case they actually return to beat the game.

Not talking about Elden Ring specifically but more on the 20+ unfinished games she was 30 min~2 hours away from beating if she just pushed a little forward. If they are bad streams, I'd have to say the fault is more on Gura's side in most cases, specifically with the mentality going into it. She was 30 minutes away from beating Superhot, the shortest game on her list, but she showed up 30 minutes late and was sleep deprived. Could've beaten There is No Game if she didn't the thought of the internet issue lingering over her head that she couldn't use her actual model and also being sleep deprived. Remember when she tweeted how she trained against escaping the EMI for Metroid Dread but hasn't return to it since it's release?

If she set back-to-back playthrough of the same game like she did RE7 or if she set a weekly schedule for games she was continuing instead of basing her schedule on a whim of the moment, I don't think we'd have such a huge timeloop of people asking: when are you returning to this game and so-and-so date. That doesn't mean she has to complete every game she starts but if she doesn't want to be swamped with streamer brain and have to start over from scratch every time she restarts a game, she should schedule her game placements better instead of willy nilly. Also, be a bit more upfront if she isn't going to continue a game so it doesn't get brought back up in a later stream. She breeds unrealistic expectations if she can replay a hard rhythm game to get a perfect but doesn't bring that same mentality for anywhere else.

I really need to start finding more fulfilling hobbies, exercise and get a fucking job, depression and GAD since I was 18 and now 29 make it really fucking hard though, kinda like my brain hardwired itself to adapt to my abysmal mental health and now I have to re-wire the fucker after a decade of this shit, I'll get there in the end though, if not I of myself.

She has been the best thing to enter my life for a long ass time it feels like, and to think a year ago before I discovered v-tubing I would thought anyone who watches v-tubers are werdoes, until I stumbled upon the cutest little shark girl playing RE:Village and that was the point of no return for me after that, so glad I randomly found that stream and found Gura, she's been a beacon in the darkness for in the past year and never fails to cheer me up and introduced me to hololive and so many more beautiful girls in JP too. Yeah like every Ubisoft game ever now. Open world was amazing when it first became a thing and I couldn't play anything other than open world games or FPS games, now I can't stand the absolute uninspiring dross that is open world games that saturate the market now and prefer more handcrafted linear type well written story games with well crafted smaller but areas with much more attention to detail. AAA studios are in the mud these days and indie gaming is the way to go now in most cases.
