Let's compare this to Towa's MK tournament. She commissioned someone to make chibi art of literally every participant, organized groups and a timeslot that worked for everyone even across the time zones, and not only interviewed the winners, but cast all the races as well, resulting in a great event that brought together the fandom to root for their oshi to win or at least place better then expected, except for Mori who was too cool to take it seriously and just participated ironically because she couldn't be assed to practice because it wasn't her autism game of the month.
Mori's tournament has absolutely zero hype because there's no direct competition, is a fucking terrible game that people only watch to see the streamer rage instead of being one that everyone is familiar with and can participate in, and she can't even funnel her audience to those who're participating because even she doesn't know who's going to take part because she's fucking terrified of actually trying to organize something because it might impose on someone, which is also the TTRPG died because she was unwilling to ask people to actually commit the timeblock.
