I'm a little bit out of the loop with the Haachama situation, is she taking a break because she wanted to or is cover giving her a timeout? it's been a long time.
Whatever the reason i hope she's doing alright

The facts are:
1) Cover pulled the plug on the Haachama project because Youtube updated their policies on allowed content.
2) She took a break after announcing the cancellation of the ending stream/video.

No one knows if she took a break because of the cancellation of the project or if it was just a coincidence

Story arc that started with a meme of Akai Haato being dead. Fan-created content was used to make more lore about the two personalities battling for dominance. There is an interesting meta component to this were the battle also reflected the pressure the actress received from fans to continue as one character or the other.

"Haachama" was simply a nickname she came up with back in 2019 to be closer with her fans (she previously had her fans call her "Haato-sama" which has a certain distance to it). New EOP fans who came in during 2020 only knew of her crazy content that she did last year and started pushing a stupid meme that she has a split personality between "Haato" and "Haachama" instead of just letting "Haachama" be a nickname. Haato decided to pander to her new base and played around with this meme, which ended up backfiring on her.

To be more clear, Cover ended the project and presumably forced her to change/redo the actual ending she wanted:

They (supposedly) did this in response to Youtube new rules, but Cover being the incompetent fucks that they are overreacted and went as far to private all the #COEXIST videos. Being forced to alter her story arc and losing over a month's of content and millions of views probably made her pretty upset. It's unlikely that it was a suspension seeing as it's been over 3 weeks, which is more than her Taiwan suspension and Cover never mentioned anything about it. It's also very likely she's starting college already. Anyways, most of her videos are back now with new warnings and classifications, Ame has mentioned her recently and she changed her twitter location a couple weeks ago, so hopefully she's back soon.
