That is imposter syndrome but it isn’t the full story here. It isn’t that her work as Mori Calliope feels fully unearned (though there is no doubt that as well) but rather that her success is only as Mori Calliope. Her work before that was a failure and her success as Mori is as a vtuber and the character rather than as herself. She doesn’t just want to be a footnote on the story of Mori Calliope because vtubing was never something she cared about beyond a job and an opportunity. If you want to see how her numbers look without the buff, I think she's going to working on or going to release two songs soon? You can see when she releases them. It really does have a bit of a gimmicky feel to it. Ironically, I feel like the singing both exacerbates the fundamentally unserious feeling of the rap but also, like, makes the rest of the song (and this applies to most of her stuff, not a specific one) good enough to compensate for the weird feeling of the rap parts
