So, why does Alban needs to do a 100k Totsu? NijiEN really likes to burn down the importance of this kind of milestones to other people. 100k celebration is nice, but not when you achieve it in less than 10 days. Certain indies, even Hololive and Niji's takes months or years to achieve that. That's where the history of vtuber milestones came from. Doing milestones like this on the reason to collect some easy SCs and pretending to be happy and grateful when it's not because of your own achievement but past predecessor is truly shameless.

Most of NijiEN members are in the vtuber game to milk as much as possible, regardless of what the company, Anykara, might have in future for them. Anykara will, or will not, give them 3D, record deal or any big sponsors. They probably do not care and will continue to milk money.

Most HoloEN members are here and they expect to do their idol reps in the long run. Cover will absolutely provide them with time, money and opportunities to do their own albums. They get salary, alongside merch deals and sponsorship as well. Everyone will have a fair share of everything.

This is less a question of trickle-down effect in the literal sense and more a question of perception, which is the point I was trying to make in the first place. Vox and his chat create a perception and reputation that surrounds Luxiem as a whole, even if those things are (to a degree) isolated to his own chat and audience. I'm seeing it happen more and more in Discord conversations and Twitter from people I know have nothing to do with /vt/ or seeing anything that gets posted here.

Vox, and what his approach promotes paired with the large SC numbers it garners, tints his entire gen (and the NijiEN males on the whole, at least so far) with that image. Again, do I think he cares? Nah. Do I think his genmates care? Probably not, maybe some more than others. Do I think the perception will only get worse over time and not better? Probably.
