Before his debut him and Vox were getting into heavy banter with each other, but a lot of their esl fans didn't actually understand it was banter, and thought they actually hated each other. This, plus his debut being pretty edgy and chuuni filtered those fans hard. Fulgur has only doubled down about the chinese fans ignoring him if he pisses them off.
