I cannot comprehend how can anyone still support that company after they made clear they will backstab their talents to save face.

The recent Rushia shitshow was the first time they actually made an effort to try to support one of their talents through a scandal instead of throwing them to the wolves, before she panicked and sabotaged her own job there. I do think they've finally realized that they actually need to "cover" their talent when they're under attack from antis, and I think that that largely comes from their expansion into the west. Unlike the Japanese, western fans won't sit quietly and politely while Cover punishes talent over nothingburgers to try to please the unpleaseable, frothing-at-the-mouth antis. Hopefully they actually stick to this change of strategy the next time people throw a shitfit over a nothingburger, because their western audience WILL eventually leave if they don't.
